That charge and defend strategy comes in real handy. I beat Bonetail in TTYD by only charging and I had Koops as my partner. I used multibounce and and I did 400 damage. even though he has 200.

@MrTurtle1239 Haha chill. The attack does 3 damage, but he only took 1 damage because of the Last Stand badge. That badge reduces damage by 1/2, rounded down, when Mario has 5 or less HP. So 3 divided by 2 is 1.5, rounded down is 1. There you go.

I'm doing a level 1 run no items/no toad houses/no heart blocks, with some badge restrictions, only allowed to collect one badge per chapter, no FP or HP plus's, no shopping of any kind, no trading star pieces for badges either. It took me a few times to beat huff in puff, I only used mega rush to beat him. Crystal King, Jr troopa and Bowser should be fun =D

@colten5330 Uh, is Level 1 No Items No Healing even possible?! I've completed a Level 7 No Items run before, but I needed to spam a lot of healing to do it. (Fortunately, with badges you can block all of Final Bowser's attacks, except his lightning, for 0 damage once you're in Danger.)

my friend has this game, and hes stuck on huff n puff cause he upgraded everything else except upgrading his flower points. now you make it look amazing without any upgrades congrats :D

I beat the Huff, N. Puff in level 6, its not hard, i think level 7 is minimun possible when you play the game on the N64 console without gameshark or someting like that, i beat the game on level 7, i beat bowser easily with some defense badges, but you defeating bowser on level 1, its amazing XD

Paper Mario's a bit different from other RPGs. You can go on ahead and level up, and just put your level up points into badge points, and then just not use those extra badge points that you get. It'll be exactly the same thing. tujudi737 just decided to just prevent leveling up altogether, for whatever reason, but it's all the same.

I think the highest level is either 27, 29, or 30. I forget. And Huff N' Puff is a tough boss. I only got through this because of knowing from the start exactly how the battle would flow.

I do that with super jump charge, except I do it for like 5 turns and then use Power Bounce which takes about two turns.
