It's not about being exactly like those divas of ages past, it's the tradition record producers wants people to follow. The wailing and the high notes, that's part of that tradition of singing.......just watch shows like Idol...........most people who come there to sing are all born out of that tradition. One thing that I have noticed is that many people who compete in all those reality shows are gospel singers

Lykke represents a way of singing that I feared was dying. Maybe we wont have to see all the high power, gospel style, high pitch-divas take over the world. Clones, almost all of them. Having Technique isn't enough to be as great artist and entertainer, Lykke is proof that the whole package is what makes you interesting.
