I wonder is it true that actually Jose Rizal coming from Malay descendant? so, why his ancestor didn't convert to Islam like those Malays in Indonesia, Malaysia, Southern Thailand or Southern Philippines?? also, like to know how the Malay people survive in the Philippines? are they confess into Christian only or some of them are Muslim too??

@aqualily1402 Really? then, why don't his parent didn't adopt a Chinese name for him?? you should know that Rizal is a familiar name among Malays people or may be he was came from Mestizo descendants? I try searching about Mestizo from the Wikipedia, and been shocked that actually Filipino Mestizo were same like Peranakan descendant. Both races were mixed of others races with Malays community and adopt fully/half of Malays cultures into their life without abounding their faith - Buddha/Christian

@mynamefifi well the Spaniard in the middle of crusade war, thats why they force all non-religion or muslim people to convert to christian or else they will be killed... they also frustated they cant win again the southern mindanao muslim people at that time, even US cant do anything about it, but the problem start right here after the independent where the muslim populated region being forcefully assimilated into christian based government and the conflict begin there untill today..
