I have Mortal Kombat for my Sega Genesis. That one had blood, but you had to use a code for that. I once had Mortal Kombat on my Super Nintendo. THAT one lacked the blood.
In truth, SNES has the better version of ANY fighting game...Why? SNES fighting games had 4 to 6 attack buttons while Genesis fighters had 2 (due to the limited number of buttons on the Genesis Controller)
Try playing the Snes version of Mortal Kombat, what a piece of shit that is.
Its honestly a completely different game to the genesis version, who ever thought it'd be a great idea to take MK and change the mechanics around deserves a screwdriver in the head
Actually, MK on SNES was OK in some form...to my opinion, I think they've done a fair job making this as a good port. Though, SNES MK had a few glitches in the game, but there were some AI problems too.
However, neither one of the ports are as great as the arcade version.
$10 more for a WAY better looking and sounding game...MK on the Genesis didn't even play like MK

CrazyRay7979 1 month ago
@CrazyRay7979 Too much rom data plus the controls are confusing when customizing it..

Ah Sega. They tried the Pepsi route for marketing.
Didn't work once the fad wore off though.

rogerdamnit 2 years ago
@rogerdamnit I'm not sure what the mosquito was about? It may have had something to do with blood being removed from the snes version or something?
