they require flexibility and certain techniques are similar. but hands and arm movements, the entire feel and expression are totally different. also,chinese dance has got many other types of dances so this is not the only kind. hths

This maybe be "Chinese Classical Dance" but the dancer has her hair in a bun, she's wearing pink ballet tights, a black leotard and pink ballet slippers. She certainly looks like a ballerina to me.

That's because this is not ballet. If you read the title, it says Chinese Classical Dance. Which means that what she's doing are techniques from Chinese classical dance.
