Risen is like one of the best games ever, along with the Gothics. (even G3 with cp1.74 is a very decent game) - I finished Risen so many times. Then Dragon Age came out. Watching this just made me want another Risen run so here I go!

Hmm this game looks cool only found this vid through the Nightwish official site and I thought a game trailer with NW music may as well take a look. Can anyone tell me when its out and if its on PS3 looks cool like a darker version of Oblivion. Oh and is the gameplay like a normal RPG (LOTR the 3rd Age) or is it more like Oblivion/Fallout3 in gameplay style. I can already tell its 3rd person but is it like alot of confusing options in a fight or just a simple button press. please tell me.

Gnnnn... with quite a bit of the audience having played Gothic II and already heard The Poet and the Pendulum, the trailer somewhat feels "puzzled together". I would've used Folk Metal or something.

Immediately, the Sacred II trailer comes to mind as competition. Against that one, which uses an original song and actually has the music fit in, this one really isn't too good.

Though probably, Goth... errrrr Risen, sorry ;) is the better game.

Der beste Trailer den ich bisher kenne für mich. Dieser Trailer baut stimmung auf ohne ende vorallem mit dem Nightwish schon, da haben die ENtwickler, zum glück, voll einen rausgehauen. It's well known that Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish's main songwriter) is heavily inspired by film music. The use of his "magnum opus" in this trailer really showcases that to great effect. One wonders if the soundtrack will feature more Nightwish music.

Optronyx..unfortunately alot of people think that when a band becomes too popular or "mainstream" that their music will change to keep the masses happy instead of their loyal fans..and by doing so they are no longer good or different which is completely untrue. Same thing has happened to numerous bands a good example would be Metallica..Seems to me that the band really has nothing to do with who likes them.

Of course, I've been listening to Nightwish for as long as I can remember with them being one of my favorite bands, but just because I disagree with your opinion I mustn't have heard anything by them! Brilliant logic there. I agree it has it's epic moments, but the song feels like it's just trying too hard to be 'epic' and it fails both lyrically and musically, despite the occasional couple minutes that prove to be an exception here and there.

That's a fairly lame trailer. It's not too bad I guess, but a) there was at least one TERRIBLE cut of the song, b) you can't have dramatic music with long shots of people standing around doing nothing and c) the music does not seem to fit the visuals at all. The game looks to be set in some semi-tropical area, when the start of Poet always makes me think of winter. Okie dokie, /rant. ^__^;;
