@Picture111 That's Jimmie Nichols (Don't know how to spell it) with them. Ringo had gotten sick and couldn't go on tour, so Jimmie was their replacement drummer.

OMG, John Lennon was gorgeous in those days! I loved the way he looked in the early beatlemania days. A little meat on his bones, so cute!!!

I hated when he got when he got with yoko and he got so thin and grew his hair long. he looked like jesus. lol, seriously.

Anyway, still love him. God rest his soul!!

@LadyScorpio39 I'm with you. My fave John look is definitely the Beatle touring years. After '66, John started to look so different, becoming virtually unrecognizable. "Bad" enough after '66 his features changed from boy/man to more manly (altho I've seen pix of him in '80 where he looked like his young Beatle self!), but then to cover up the handsome features that were there with long hair, a beard & a 'stashe-not flattering. Sadly, I'll always prefer the "touring look" overall. Luv him, tho.
