True Xtianity...huh is that the catholics, protestants, greek orthodox, presbyterian, LDS, westboro baptist, etc
I agree with most of the song tho, Jesus was a hippie who preferred to hang out with druggies and whores than the theocrates and whose teachings where closer to communism than anythign else.
Its just the original church which started the religon is sooo different frm wht u may practice today that whenever i hear "true Xtian" i think, yeah you and everyone else mate.
Thank you very much FredZengel. I can relate to this song so much that I felt as if you were singing this song directly to me - even though other people could hear this too.
I was just curious... Has anyone ever told you that you look Jerry Garcia with short hair? :-) I was just wondering because I think you do. So... ummm... anyways I hope you have a great day today and I enjoyed your tune very much. Thank you again.
Thank you for your kind comments: I was pleased that you found the song enjoyable and relevant: there's got to me more sane people out there besides you and I. No, no one has ever told be I resemble Jerry Garcia, although I wish I had a few shards of his music ability. Thanks again and keep on turckin', as we used to say... Fred
I have only known Fred and Alice for about a year. I have worked for them twice now at their home. In my line of work you never become friends with a customer but they changed that rule. Two of the nicest people you could ever meet. Hope your retaining wall works for you guys. Peace, Cary
Thanks. I figure that without the Bible versus to back up and otherwise substantiate the lyrics, this song could be easily dismissed as just some more whining discontent. Now, however, those who would denigrate these lyrics will still have to reconcile their attitude with the teachings and examples of Jesus.
It's great to see an old friend that still holds positive values and principles---even after all ths time (I knew this guy when he was in his '20s). This song proves, this is not a Christian Nation. In fact, Fred might consider naming this tune, "We Ain't No Christian Nation." Love ya, Feddy
I can't speak for the nation, or for any other human being, for that matter. We're all going to have to stand naked before the Divinity and account for ourselves sooner or later. As Stephen Gaskin used to say, "One person, one karma."
He's right this has nothing to do with Christianity.
Please READ the bible in context.

Hey Fred - love it. The Bible verses are particularly good - nothing like a reminder that love is at the core.
