No one will ever accuse Charles and Caroline of being a disciplinarian parents. Their kids disrespect, disobey and does whatever they pleases, whenever they pleases even when Charles and Caroline don't approve. In the end, they get hug instead of punished for it. LOL
That was sad Albert would just leave the pet that he loved. I was glad things got straightened out. As for Laura, well, she was at the between age of teenager and little girl. She felt her family was being taken away.
@Dubajblue me neither. Damn good actress but her characters sucks! She's selfish and cruel at times. Remember she wouldn't even say a prayer for her little baby brother that was sick and dying. The heifer wanted him gone until it finally happened. Family is grieving and hurt, and that hussy up and ran away in the dead of night making her parents worry even more after they just lost a new born son. Now she does this to Albert whom I also can't stand at times. LOL
I can understand why Laura was feeling how she was. But still, Albert has hard a very hard life. You'd think that Laura would understand that and let him enjoy what good he's getting.
Well the series is based almost entirely on the books that the real Laura wrote...it's silly to consider that any plot would revolve around anyone else. She does get annoying and egocentric, but I mean, it IS based on her reminiscences of childhood.
Albert should have been in there standing with the bull he had mostly raised...I realize the series of lhotp episodes is written by a woman...and laura is the main character...but, she should have told what nelly said to hurt her feelings and be done with it and not instead become jealous of the time albert and charles were spending together because of Fagin...it seems that pretty much every episode revolves around the laura character...it would be nice to see the albert character explored more.

At the end of the day, she was still a little girl, and most kids that age are still foolish in one way or another, especially when it comes to their parents. It isn't fair to place rational adult expectations on a child's emotions. Their behaviour perhaps, but not their feelings, because they can't control those.
He didn`t kill Mary`s baby. I guess he acted his guilt so well that you really beleaved it ;-). It was Clay who left the pipe in the basement. It was an thoughtless act, not a killing act. We all make misstakes, we all are thoughtless sometimes. So, knowing that, we have to forgive others too. Specially when it`s about kids.

LOL I know and he did it all throughout every single season he was in. I think one of his saddest runaways was when he was trying to get away from Pa to get to the morphine in Doc Baker's office.
