look at backside of the "controlepanel" on your drums or at the backside of the drumheads and you'll find a number and then two letters. the letters can be SL (like mine) , EL (like my old drumset) or they can be QM (most common at 360 drums).. Sock mod (the mod I'm using) only works for SL and QM sets.
yes. EL sets are 98.99% free from crosstalk (For exampel: you hit blue drum and and yellow drum goes of to) . And if you remove the drumheads you can see some big differances between SL/QM and EL.. Hard to explain...
