Government isn't corrupt because of the structure or the way candidates are elected or bills passed. It's corrupt because it's powerful!
End the government monopoly on money and the IRS, then you would get somewhere.
If Gravel's message had moved people early on, he would be in a position like Ron Paul who won't be receiving "symbolic" votes.
