  • The first MC song I heard back in the summer of '82 on WAAF in Boston.

I bought the record and all my friends said "what ? Are you "F'd" in the head? they sound like girls!

A year later they were all jammin' their asses off to 'Looks that Kill' and 'Shout at the Devil'......So I got to say - "I TOLD YA SO......"

Excellent song from a young MC - they were just starting out on this one -

    Thanks for a great post Metalzilla2007 -

    THNX for the memories!

  • The best Glam rock band ever!!! but L.A. Guns is just as good!

  • @hobbit151 not glam rock just rock n roll

  • @hobbit151 LA Guns? That's like saying Black Sabbath and KC and the Sunshine Band were just as good as each other. Blasphemy.

  • I used to have this CD then i lost it, I think i know who used to have it..oh well. I can hear it now! this album and shout at the devil are my only 2 albums I like from this band.

  • @hobbit151 Theater of Pain was respectable. Use It Or Lose It, Louder Than Hell etc. I'm down. It was the transition album that every successful band has. It was an omen for shitty things to come.

  • @thirty2ncountin

You cant tell me "you're all i need" is crap.

  • @pilotamurorei No, I can't. But one or two songs does not take away from the overall point.

  • Nice bass

  • SAVAGE !!!!!!!

  • One of my favorite songs from my favorite band cant wait til the ozzfest in Chicago

  • @degamaster88 holy fuck ur lucky motley n ozzy co headline n i live in caanda and theres no canadian dates..but i saw crue in jan n they were fucking awesome

  • 1:20 thats amazing vocals right there, impressive

  • vince and brian johnson worst singers ever. nikki funnest sloopiest base player. mick mars awesome riffs good guitar solos. tommy and the drummer from rush are the best dummers out there. only mick and tommy are the only ones that should of made a solo album though.

  • i really like vince

  • vince is cool but he sucks live

  • @x1lfa not true i saw him a year ago and was dead on perfect

  • great band my favorite band. just vince souds like shit live. him and brian johnson are probally the worst singers from the 80's but the are the singers to myfav bands. mick mars is slopy live but he has that bone dieses so u cant blame him. nikki is fun as hell all to say about him. not the best bas player. hes also slopy live because he's so high though. tommy is def. the most talented in the band he's honestly the only 1 i thnk should have a solo album. mick mars has the best riffs no doubt.

  • best crue album ever!!!

  • i think Crue are just a good band in general

  • Comment removed

  • old school, this is my favorite motley song

  • MOTLEY-FUKN-CRUE

  • Awesome, love it! This has to be my favorite Motley album with a tie of Theatre Of Pain.

  • F****N KILLER Guitar Solo!!!

Too Fast For Love & Shout At The Devil---the Best Crue albums!! Early '80s Crue was hungry, Lean 'N Mean and Comin' on Strong!! Just like G'N'R in '87 with their debut Appetite for Destruction---once they became rich & famous, the business and the rest of the BS that goes with it just kills the heart & soul! A real pity!!

  • @Svenmaro You are correct my friend the best albums of motley crue are too fast and shout they make the sound of the glam metal or hair metal

  • @Svenmaro yes i cant agree with you more i think that alot of groups when they first come out that there first and second albums are the even metallica i love there older stuff better.

  • @Svenmaro i agree

  • @Svenmaro as much as i agree with you theatre of pain was a pretty solid album

  • @Svenmaro unfortunately it happens to every artist/band that becomes big

  • @Svenmaro i dont really think these guys were every really in it to much for the music as much as the girls and drugs

  • @algor123 hmmm, yeah probably right but Sixx had a vision from high school and all of them were somehow involved w/music before they found each other...

  • @Svenmaro you couldn't of said that better. fuck the record industry

  • @Svenmaro i really like theatre of pain and girls girls girls too dont you? Bob rock fucked up dr. feelgood but its an ok album

  • @schclum Home Sweet Home is one of the best songs by Crue.

  • sooo cool have read about 140 pages in the dirt and it I fucking love this band

  • *** ROCKS ***

  • Motley Crue rocks. I love their first three albums.

  • yeah and like the new one

  • Freaking awesome! It's their debut album, and already has so many great songs!

  • Not a fucking worm-up-party without some Motley fucking Crue!!!

  • I fuckin' love this song!....I'm definitely a true cruehead!!!!!!.....btw Too Fast For Love came out in 1981 O.o

  • Great song, thanks,

  • Comment removed

  • thats right take me to the top

  • this album came out in '81

  • Shout has a really great overall tone to it, but Too Fast has a more punk feel. I cant decide which one is better though. Mick's riffs and solos are RAD on this one!!!!

  • Too fast is a major punk feel.Good ear.

  • i just cry when i here this song.. it's awesome

  • IMHO, this album set the pace for the 80's.....

  • Shoot me dead, but I feel that their debut album here was their best!

  • I liked Shout at the Devil slightly more, but that is only because I think the vocals sound better. Both albums are great.

  • this album is raw and love it!!! no overdubbin here.lol

  • I worship this band daily

  • motley crue's bad ass. one of my favorite bands. this is a great song.

  • just love it. this album is sooo underrated. this is motley crue. this paved the way for other glam bands. i love the punk influence on the record.

  • so raw and loud

  • Excellente disco! Y una increible cancion! Buenisima!!

  • Thanks world 4 all ur great bands and cool places to visit.

But.... I love my home in So Cal. and OUR culture!

The smell of hollywood blvd. and the sounds of our sleeze.

    Mmmmmm!

  • actually this is my favorite album

  • :39 is awesome

  • the best debut album from a rock group!

  • @mzkorox i kinda have to disagree i think Metallica's Kiilem all was the best debut album but htis is like the second best

  • @imthebestmaker Kill 'Em All was awful.

  • @mzkorox is VAN HALEN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mzkorox oh yeah except for appetite

  • @mzkorox

That would be Van Halen 1

  • @mzkorox Have to disagree with you there and say Sabbath's debut.

  • wtf is this motley crue is the best glam/metaL BAND EVER and her you are going on about rap and hiphop wath the fuck has it to do with motley crue go to youre fucking rap videos and talk about the shit ther this page is for rockers so fuck of!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i personally like all music, just some more than others :P

  • i remember this song still the best out of there album... feel like getting high and drunk.. fucking kick ass.. had some blow and listened to there album and loved it!!!.. nikki sixx is a genious. and of course the band.. cheers !!!!

  • Yeah, The sound on this album is so awesome. This one just seems to be the quintessential Sunset Strip Glam Metal album.

Funny, because it's the first album from that scene to garner major attention and pretty much started the hair/glam metal 80s. But it's the best. It is so much rawer and grittier than any other albums of that genre. And the songs are awesome. You can feel the drugs, sleeze and wildness of the LA streets.

  • i couldnt of put it beter myself man. right on. so many ppl overlook this album...i'd say its their best work, along with shout at the devil. what do u say?

  • Absolutely. This is my favorite of theirs & one of my favorites from any band. I think it should be remembered as one of the true rock classics & it's historically significant too as LA Strip Glam Metal dominated the mid to late 80s.

I love Shout too. It is easily my 2nd favorite of theirs. Great songs and a good sound, but it's the raw, loud in your face mix, the great songs, great playing, and overall vibe that puts this one on top. Tommy & Mick are really on it.

  • awesome
