He got help on his knees before JESUS, anyone else like him and myself need help do the same...be set free from GOD forever. addictions kill, GOD loves you.
Is this song on his new album Analog Man .........It doses sound like it is produced by Jeff Lynne (lalalala) hahaha.... who produced half the album.....Album is coming out in february 2012
This is great.I know im not alone and so does Joe.May his Higher Power Bless Him.ONE DAY AT A TIME is for real and the hardest thing in life to pull off but well worth it when you can remember what you did this morning.Took me four months to get my mind SOBER and start remembering things and especially names of people I met.Damn it feels good.Damn Dana you were right but im sure you dont remember saying it though.
Total identification !! 14 years sober this past June after 35 years of heavy hitting. This is the only way to fly. One day at a time. Don't pick up that first drink. Find your Higher Power and hit your knees. It seems so simple.
Saw Joe and the Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium 76? With the Stones and Chaka Kahn. Hotel California tour.
I've been clean/sober over 28 years, nothing better than knowing what you are doing and why. Thanks to God and many Brothers and Sisters, I too live One Day at a TIME! :)
I know that I saw you up in the canyon back in the 80s and have allways liked both you and the eagles but this song is the greatest that i have heard by you or the band. I have been living this way for 24 years now and what a blessing it has been for me. Thanks and keep coming back. the other song that has helped me in my recovery is "Get Over It" the lyrics there are so true as well. thanks again I miss SB and ojai
a convergence of events--including discovering this song--made me realize that in spite of being off booze for 6 years, i have continued to "eat my feelings" and haven't really learned what it means to live "one day at a time." eternally grateful for the courage to step up and do step 1 on my food. thanks, joe and the gang, and to surfzombie2 for posting!
thanks so much for posting! i had no idea walsh was sober. this is amazing. glad to know he found his way to a room, and even more glad he gave the world this song! FANTASTIC!
Thank you for posting. This vid seldom stays on youtube for long. I love Joe Walsh for his courage to perform this great song and to surfzombie for posting the vid. TNX
Great song with a Great message to ppl who can relate. Thanks Joe for puttin my life in a song. ........ODAAT is how WE roll while LEARNING the Sobriety stroll......
I Have it.. my dad has a projector tv and surround sound and he hooked it all up and when he was done he blasted the farewell tour!!!! it was like i was there!!!
Tom69z28. I bought it on dvd a few years back and cherish the video. Try buying it thru CD universe online. They have a lot of aging dvds and songs. Just a thought.
I wish there was a way to tell kids that you never know where that first beer might take you. This song is inspirational and I'm sure took lots of courage on Joe's part.

We all have addictions - it's how we deal with them that make us grow.
Hat's off to Mr. Walsh for opening my eyes that much more.
Thank-you, Sir.
