I guess because his voice got LOWER, so did the tone of the song...sorta sounds good! The only thing that bugs me a little now that they changed, Alex really isn't playing the guitar anymore :( It's now either by John Aston or no guitar at all

I mean that now... alot of songs on Humbug don't involve Alex playing guitar. I know that there are an okay amount of songs he plays on the album...but not as much as WPSTWIM and FWN :) I didn't mean to sound like he completely forgot aout guitar :( Sorry

It's a boring, unrealistic and unfair notion posed by some people that they should all stay the same as they were when they were 19/20/21. The amount of people I hear wishing that they would go back to the Monkeys of FWN or their first album is incredible. Mostly it's aimed at their hair and the fact that theyre acting as "rock stars".

Well guess what? They ARE rock stars. People change; with fame, but also without it. Nobody is nineteen forever. and without change, people are doomed.

Actually, I´ve been to this concert.. it took place in Czech Republic in summer.. AM went backstage but they came back afterwards to play an extra song, this one. He didn´t have the cig all the time, only during this song.

what do you mean? at the end of the song he's clapping for the audience, and he comes outside to meet his fans. check out the video, "alex turner graciously autographs" where he is super polite to all the fans he met. he is not the most dynamic stage performer, but that doesnt mean he treats his fans badly. watch the video and then comment.

was an awsome gig..but lots of the czech people didnt like them... they are more into their heavy rock music..i loved them..i always will..my girlfriends favourite song played for them!!! she loved them aswell and shes czech...oh and im irish lol....plenty of english and irish there though
