I literally JUST discovered the tune. Heard it on the radio and it remined me a lot of the smiths. Love it! Can anyone tell me a bit more about this band? Do they still exist? Where are they from? When were they active?
@StellaArcher they split up 1995 made 3 albums.ive got a few vids i made myself on my channel just because there isnt enough on you tube.hope you check them out.
In a landscape blighted by X Factor / Pop Idol/ Gayboy bands with their limp, derivative drivel that is only fit for ten year old retards, this is a beacon of light; love it !
One of my favorite bands from the 90's. Big Rick Stewart and Steve Master would always know what you were talking about when you wanted this played on the original live 105 in San Francisco.
I loved the new fads they were awesome great tune seen them twice at cities in the park festival Manchester in 91 and king tuts in Glasgow later that year ! They were fucking amazing both times ! Andy spearpoint it's time you got your band on the road again !
The Fads were fantastic. A shame they never made it big time!
Saw them once in Sittard (The Netherlands) and that still remains one of my favourite gigs ever. Makes you realize how long ago it is that really great bands emerged!
i've just recently became aware of the existence of this band, and i'm glad i did it, i just love this song!!! "no monster me sadly no saint either!" hahaha ;)
They did a song live back in about '94 which I guess was called "Justify Me"-unbelievably good but never saw it anywhere else. Anybody know what the hell I'm talking about cos I can still remember it clearly (despite struggling to remember what I did yesterday)?
My brother had this album on cassette when it came out, I loved it then. Bought it on amazon recently and fell in love with it all over again. Brilliant, emotive, passionate, angry, funky, unique music.

Why should anyone in Belgium know them? Sweden perhaps given the song title...
bakaboyo 2 years ago
They were signed to Belgian record label Play It Again Sam and often gigged in Belgium - the second album was recorded in Brussels.

Agreed eckmacdonald,
Saw them a few times in late 80's early 90's, and they were simply superb everytime. First album is pure genius, this album is not there, but almost!
Fair play to Andy how is now a drum teacher, but what about Icarus?
