Man, Electric Wizard and Hooded Menace are two totally different sounds. Hooded Menace's sound has much more in common with Amon Amarth than EW.

They're both awesome, but you can't blaze to Hooded Menace like you can to this.

Dude, have you even HEARD Amon Amarth, obviously they're a lot faster and more death metal orientated, but on all their slower tracks they sound extremely similar. HM and AA are far more similar in sound than HM and EW, so I don't know what your problem is.

But that album just didn't have much groove to it. To me that's what the Wizard are, a groovy stoner/doom band. I'm the same way, each album they have changed their sound just a little and managed to have a different vibe but the same EW feel (if that makes sense to you).
