A lot of you guys are missing the point of the video. Well done for picking out each song. That proves nothing. This collection sounds like it could quite easily be an actual song. This means that all their songs are so similar that if you stick them all together they will fit nicely.

Dragonforce songs dont sound the same...i can tell what song it is in the first 1 second of every song.

The reason you think it all sounds the same is because you only hear through the fire and flames and you relate them to that song every time you hear anything of theirs.
I could probably tell which ones were which if i bothered reading the titles everytime the song changes on my mp3-player. But yeah people who actually LISTEN to the music instead of just hearing it, know the difference.

Metallica made interesting music... well at least until the black album came out. the only good song in that was enter sandman, but everything else sucks. to me metallica only made 4 albums. Kill em all, Ride the lightning, Master of puppets, and And justice for all. Don't bash classic metallica. Bash new metallica :D but those 4 albums were actually interesting and something new back then.
Although most of their songs are in the same tempo, this WOULD be more convincing if all their songs were in the same key. Sadly for you they're not, so this falls flat on its face.
Granted they only use a certain few keys to play/sing in, but so does every other band, to stick with the vocalist's range.
What I will say, though, is that this is a cool mix. It's like the end credits of a classic Sonic The Hedgehog game!
Harmony wise, their songs are very similar. They use their extremely fast dual guitar harmonies to death. They're good, but it would be nice to see them branch off and do something different. Also, many of their songs have the same inspirational, epic themes. Their songs are similar. They're also hard. I've watched videos, and they fail miserably live. Mistakes are fine, but really? They're a good studio band, but it just comes down to a bunch of mediocre musicians playing fast and sloppy. Sorry

for all u that say all their songs song the same:
- theyre in DIFFERENT keys
- they use DIFFERENT melodies
- sometimes, they do sound similar, but for like 3 SECONDS and then someone says the ENTIRE song sounds the same as ANOTHER... NOT TRUE
- the length (doesnt really matter) ranges from 3:18 (shortest song) to 9:45 (longest song)
- like FurbyParade226 said, any fan can easily tell the difference, and if us fans are idiots like others say, everyone else should be able to, too.

A lot of you guys are missing the point of the video. Well done for picking out each song. That proves nothing. This collection sounds like it could quite easily be an actual song. This means that all their songs are so similar that if you stick them all together they will fit nicely.

Dragonforce songs dont sound the same...i can tell what song it is in the first 1 second of every song.
Easier to do that then to distinguish between New crap like Atreyu and ALL of rap.
The reason you think it all sounds the same is because you only hear through the fire and flames and you relate them to that song every time you hear anything of theirs.

because "far away" and "day" are in it??? the melody is different, the to choruses mean different things, and any musician can EASILY tell the difference... let the record show they are SIMILAR, not IDENTICAL

@danthebackerman1 - Not really, sorry; 'Operation Ground and Pound' has the whole oriental thing going on with the guitar's scale & the shakuhachi, whereas 'Through the Fire and the Flames' has a distinctive clean guitar pattern in the intro, playing a baroque-like melody.

Metallica made interesting music... well at least until the black album came out. the only good song in that was enter sandman, but everything else sucks. to me metallica only made 4 albums. Kill em all, Ride the lightning, Master of puppets, and And justice for all. Don't bash classic metallica. Although most of their songs are in the same tempo, this WOULD be more convincing if all their songs were in the same key. Sadly for you they're not, so this falls flat on its face.
Granted they only use a certain few keys to play/sing in, but so does every other band, to stick with the vocalist's range.
What I will say, though, is that this is a cool mix. It's like the end credits of a classic Sonic The Hedgehog game!

Harmony wise, their songs are very similar. They use their extremely fast dual guitar harmonies to death. They're good, but it would be nice to see them branch off and do something different. Also, many of their songs have the same inspirational, epic themes. Their songs are similar. They're also hard. I've watched videos, and they fail miserably live. Mistakes are fine, but really? They're a good studio band, but it just comes down to a bunch of mediocre musicians playing fast and sloppy. Sorry
