My goodness. Sorry to say , but before this song; I had never heard of Joe. Man oh man what a fabulous vocalist!! Joe had more vocal talent left over than most singers have to begin with!! Rest assured I will be listening to more YouTube postings of Joe. This man just had an incredibly beautiful voice and vocal range period!! Thanks for a great YouTube Post of this Video!!

My mother had a Joe Dolan LP which I used to play when I was a kid in the 70's. I loved his voice & only today after a long time have I re discovered his music - here on You Tube. He sounds as great as he did all those years ago. I genuinely felt sad to read of his passing. Luckily for us his music lives on.

I think he is just great. Never heard him before but I just keep playing his songs over and over again.

People can say anything about him but they cant take his music away from him... Joe did more for Ireland abroad than lots and i remember him singing in the galtymore when i was just 17 after leaving home for uk. So rest in peace Joe and if people has nothing nice to say then say nothing at all. He did no harm to anyone just brought pleasure in his own style of music.. He was a legend and will be for a long time to come..

I'm shattered. I remember Joe from 1965 onwards. I remember one night in particular when over 4000 people turned up to see him at the Palm Beach Ballroom,Portmarnock. He was pulled off the stage that night by a gang of women and was lucky to survive.

of his art. He represents so much. Showband era, live music, proper record sales,
