how well does it ride with the air filters like that? what size power, main, and idle jets do you have on there? i bought an 03 sb 1200 and the dude put 130's power jet and had all sorts of vaccum hoses loose and 4 k&n filters on there it ran ok but if i tried to floor it it would bogg down and i wsa only getting about 8 or 10 miles per gallon.
@mosesp254339 It sucks a lot more air.. I have a stage 3 race jet kit in it.. my motor is also punched out.. But if you do the pod's like what i have you will have to add more fuel for the increased air. its only CC's not CI like cars.. If you cant get the jet kit for a while use some tape and tape off most of the filter.thats what I had to do because I had a 3 day wait when i ordered it.. Also its really hard to tune with the pod's.. you will get it dialed in and the next day its cold wont run
I got mine to run great in the summer.. but once fall came it would run really rich because the colder air..I would keep the stock air box in and use a K&N.. It wasnt as much of a power gain. it was more oh a pain in the ass and cost more money to get it to run right..
