The professor of religion needs to stop putting God in a box. God has the power to do anything at anytime and use anyone at anytime, even a 7 year old boy. The little boy was not judging just simply speaking the truth. Unless she gets saved by Jesus Christ, then yes she will go to hell.
Prof Balmer says the boy was judging her when she asked him if she's going to hell because she is not saved. The boy said yes, unless she gets saved. Every christian (including the prof) believes this since the Bible says the only way to God and heaven is through Jesus. What does the prof tell people then when he gets asked this question, if you're not allowed to give them an honest answer which might turn them to God? Giving a yes/no answer is not judging, it's simply speaking the truth.

You have no idea how God can change a person's life. Once you are born again you are entirely a different person. There are only 144,000 elects that will be saved.
I'm 16 and I started telling people about Christ at 15 I was saved at 13 and baptized at 14. If any age I think 12 or older would be the best place to start, cause then really its your decision of what you want to do instead of a parental influence. Just like getting baptized, I know of alot of people who lead an ungodly life because they were baptized as babies. If you are planning to get baptized I would say wait,, learn the Gospel, feel the Holy Spirit leading you. God bless! :)

Every christian (including the prof) believes this since the Bible says the only way to God and heaven is through Jesus. What does the prof tell people then when he gets asked this question, if you're not allowed to give them an honest answer which might turn them to God? Giving a yes/no answer is not judging, it's simply speaking the truth.

I'm 16 and I started telling people about Christ at 15 I was saved at 13 and baptized at 14. If any age I think 12 or older would be the best place to start, cause then really its your decision of what you want to do instead of a parental influence. Just like getting baptized, I know of alot of people who lead an ungodly life because they were baptized as babies. If you are planning to get baptized I would say wait,, learn the Gospel, feel the Holy Spirit leading you. God bless! :)

I would like to see their comprehension of scripture be tested. Give them passages to respond to, like the ones on scholastic achievement tests. I would be surprised if they could do it, at an age when most kids are reading Dr. Seuss.

It must make you unbelievers look pretty dumb If even a 7 year old can understand the Gospel!! I think its brilliant these kids are learning at a young age :) And they're not afraid to speak the truth either!
