its funny how short of memories people have. washington will be back. and everyone will have to eat crow when we are back to competing for PAC-10 titles again in a few years.
Steve Sark was the perfect hire. Young, energetic, fierce, pretty much the opposite of TW.
We already know Sark can recruit. I have all the confidence in the world UDUB will be in the top of the pac again!
Eliminate the last 6 years, Washington was always in the top 15 in the country, besides USC, Washington is the only PAC-10 team to win a National Championship in the last 25 years.
Go back 6 to 8 years ago, Washington Always beat USC believe it or not.
He wants to build back that program to the Don James era of Husky football and i cant wait until the Huskies get back in the Rose Bowl
can someone answer two questions for me. First of all why would Sarkisian leave a winning program at USC to take up the head coaching job at a losing program such as Washington. And secondly that this is occuring will it have an adverse effect on USC's offense next year as a result of losing such a good offensive co-ordinator.
cause Sark is a competitor, like everyone else at USC. I'm sure hes going to enjoy the challenge of rebuilding Washington's program. The time has come for the Pac-10 to take its rightful place as the premier conference in the nation. Plus, head coaches get paid more than assistants. as for their offense, I'm sure Pete'll find someone to fill in. He did it when norm left and he'll do it again. SC always reloads =]
He left because any good assistant wants to be a head coach. There's a challenge in turning a football team around ala Pete Carroll before he got to USC.
Adverse effect on that offense...not likely. See raider's comment about Norm Chow. These guys are so good they could probably tell the oppenent the first 20 plays and still score.
What a class act. Glad to see him in Seattle.
