Great review im glad someone else felt it was a worthy reboot,i saw the originals back when they came out and have been a huge fan ever since and although alot of self proclaimed die hard fans hated this film i dont consider it as part of the original collection so i dont feel it ruined the previous instalments rather it gives i slightly different slant on the story and updates the fx etc which in general works well i enjoyed this one alot : )

I haven't seen the film yet I might check it out. The problem I have is how Robert Englund is replaced. Any stunt man could play Jason or Michael Myers but with Characters like Freddy or Pinhead, they have became iconic characters based on there performance by certain actors. Then again having Englund in a remake defeats the purpose of remaking it. However,Robert Englund is Freddy Krueger. Good Review (:

Good review. I think I'll rent this, and buy the original
