  • not bad at all - bravo!!!

  • i think one of the best performances of bach's chaconne.congratulations. very mellow sounding violin

  • OMG, i really love this song.. And, you, you play this song very beautifully!! Im trying hard to memorize all the parts, but it's very hard indeed!!

  • I shall look on ebay for a violin great as yours I keep looking at wonderful violins and it makes me wish I could have one, mine is okay but I used a Great/ Wonderful handmade violin and I loved it but I had to give it back and I miss the rich sound and I'll never forget that violin. :')

  • woah this sound almost exactly like the old violin a bought pre 18th century and it has no brand :O

  • marry me

  • What he said

  • What he said

  • tell me you didn't sell this !!

  • where did you bought this....Very Warm! Is this already sold?

  • all i have to say is imagine that instrument with gut strings on it. The richness of an instrument with gut strings increases due to type of string. sadly all i ahev for my instrument is a single d gut string but it is really rich.

  • beautiful!

I hope it sold for a good amount.

I wish I had the money to buy it.

  • Absolutely beautiful rendition of Bach's Chaconne. O, and nice violin!

  • I am surprised to discover this well balanced tone from a Smith's old age violin. It sounds strong and dark at the low, sweet and bright at the higher notes. I would love to hear this played in the Barbican Hall! Perhaps a Strad made at the latest years could be more powerful than other stages.

  • check my video

I might want to buy this

  • rich tone accompanied bach! thanks for a very lovely performance on a famous smith! Smith born in Essex of England in 1880 and later immigrate to Australia.

  • this is the first australian instrument i have ever heard and i must say the first impression has been a wonderful one.

btw, u r also a wonderful player, masterful interpretation of the bach chaconne.
