@Lalai44 Autotune is a program that corrects the sound and pitch of a person's voice. It makes the person's singing sound perfect and polished. It can be a good thing when used in moderation, but Glee goes overboard and the result comes out sounding over produced and in my opinion, it just sounds bad. Sometimes sounding raw and natural is better. =)

for a better understanding of autotune, youtube "weird al explains autotune". It should be the first video.

I think the non-perfection actually made it better for me! It's a huge relief to not hear auto-tune, which seems to be most of the entertainment industry's saving grace these days. It reminds me of his earlier work in AVPM/S, and makes it more personal, because in the Potter musicals you could tell he knew when he flubbed up and that it didn't bother him, just like in this video. He'll always be Harry to me :)

Poor Darren. He sounds so nervous and tired. As a singer I can tell from his wavers and breathing. It's not that he can't sing; he's amazing. He's been doing live shows for years and fans adore him. It's simply he sounds vocally tired and nervous as hell. He uses growling and speak sing to push through it. Sometimes you have to perform even when you don't feel your best.

I love you Darren and great job pushing through.

It almost sounded like the original... except for when you can hear him breathe in the microphone, and when he chuckled at the bridge (which i thought was cool; it showed personality), and I'm pretty sure the warblers were not lip syncing, because I saw another video of them rehearsing for teenage dream and it sounded marvelous, eerily exact.
