People applaud in the background for his "excellent" capabilites. Dont they see that he could have be dead now? No risk no fun? How to get out of that situation? Do not get into that situation! I would result experienced pilots that know the local wind situation before each flight.
That dude was actually flying without control over his wing most of the time! And concerning that involuntary loop I totally agree with "planiador": Volviste a nacer hijo de puta!
Those guys are the ones that make our sport known as being dangerous. Get some instruction or never touch a paraglider again, just my advice!
what is that mean "rotors". but I know when the wing did what it did in the video, that was not very good to have happen. how does one get into that situation to begin, and how to get out of that situation? thank you.
my opinion- this guy is an ace, most pilots would not have landed this. Not sure how or why he put himself in this situation- I have to doublt the judgment of that.
para gliders are made every day, you only live once. Please live to fly another day. I really hope that scared you. Your way to unsafe and i pray tour friends chose another instructor other than you. Live long have fun.
No, he didn't brake it once. That was the biggest problem concerning his piloting. The only time it spun was during the recovering of the big frontal after the "tumbling", but it happend without brake input. Way too bad pilot for way too difficult conditions with a way too hot glider!
2 STUPID 2-B TRUE..... It s unbelievable how lucky some guys are. He shouldn launch at such turbulent days... Not ready yet. Not shure if he ll ever be... Greetz -toemsi-
I don´t know if that wasn´t the day for him to fly or if he is not ready to take off on such turbulent conditions. That is an enormous amount of collapses in less than 2 minutes. Reconsider the level of safety.
Ah! Nothing like the feel of your brakes having no pressure on them falling through your hands. By the way, there's no such thing as a small rotor when you're in them.
His wing is surging all over the place and he is letting it do it! He should be trying to control the surges with the brakes. Don't think he has ever heard of active flying, he is not trying to control his wing at all! Very lucky guy!
Come on that's bullshit!!! Here we are not talking about small assymetrics.. those are bombs due to a BIG ROTOR!! He never had to take of in this conditions ... he is an idiot!
Can't see much about how high he is but this guy should count himself lucky to be alive. If the overshoot that caused a tumbling had been less powerful, he would have fallen in his wing and that would probably have killed him (with a small chance of surviving when he would see a chance to throw his reserve in the open air).
Never sleep when paragliding.

sod that,it was down to chance that he survived. get a motor and only fly in calm conditions, eg when hot air baloons are flying.

I bet he was pleased to get his feet on the ground. Still, heroic coolness. Is that a Boomerang 1 he is flying? It looked after him pretty good.

Well just dont get in that situation. The wind was comming from the other side of the mountain that gives rotors on the side he was flying.
GWfreakj 2 years ago
@bigdogITbiker the pilot didn"t pay attention where is he flying.
this is the lack of expereance(my be),flight plan, neglegance,my be drung or just crazy!

Ok, despite how creasy is this man... What is better to do in this situation? Throw reserve? Trying to control the wing? What do you think?
matteobianchi00 2 years ago
Best to do is fly straight, away from the lee side of the mountain. Land anywhere. Big ears could help also.
