Ahhh memories. I remember that when you completed this game, if you left it going after the credits it would replay the intro with all the costume changes you made. Favourite memory of this was having a match with Randy Savage vs Kevin Nash, and piledrivering Nash on the floor repeatedly outside the ring until we was busted open xD

This game was so awesome for its time because we really havent seen a game with so many different moves. Also on this game it actually goes back and forth like in real life. Most wrestling games are just you getting beat with no chance of a come back. I use to go to wars on this game because someone would always jump me from backstage.

To each his own. But I personally find that if you want an awesome wrestling video game then Revenge, No Mercy, even Here Comes The Pain are the way to go.

If you want a wrestling simulator then play WWE '12.

@MiDSinister And how're Revenge, No Mercy and HCTP any different? You can simulate matches in them too, or do your own stuff. WWE '12 has Universe, Exhibition and Story Designer, and can do EVERYTHING you can in those games, aside from interupt your own taunts, that you could do in Revenge, NM and HCTP, even throw weapons, just in WWE '12, you have a wider array of superstars, match-types and a larger CAW Mode. Don't get me wrong, I love those three, but you have to move on someday.

@MiDSinister When were they ever fast-paced or insane? I just remember getting irritated about how long they stayed down for. Never had time to hit the running Leg Drop as Hogan, the Savage Elbow as Macho Man, ohhhh, yeeeeaaaa, I am contractually obligated to use his catchphrase in tribute, sorry, etc., etc., and all that other crap. WWE '12, it takes a long time to get them to stay down, as it did in No Mercy, Revenge and HCTP, AND they stay down long enough to DO SOMETHING.

So when they're showing the Hollywood NWO logo, you see The Giant, Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan in the background. You show the Wolfpac logo and see Kevin Nash and Macho Man in the background. When the WCW logo comes up, you see.....fucking Alex Wright and Disco Inferno. You seriously couldn't show Goldberg or DDP?

Way to put yourselves over WCW.

This game is probably one of the greatest Wrestling games made of all time (beats Smackdown vs Raw) and I m glad I still own it and play it :(). If you get a chance, by an N64 and get this game, along with Mario games, Goldeneye, Zelda, and you wont regret it. Fun Times!
