you know theres an old saying don't judge a book by its cover. In this case trailer didn't look to bad at and further of all if all the actors/actresses were asian it wouldn't look right and to be onest some of the characters from the video game did look a little white like jin kazama if you look really hard at him and pluse and to be onest trying to get the right hair for them is overatted I rather see the movie then judge it later. I mean the movie DOA dead or alive was awesome.

that movie did suck:( it was okay at times but some of the characters were suppose to be asian and look a certian way based from the video game just didnt fit! dang it! I wish japan made this into a live action movie insted! it would have been much better ...but i gotta give this kudos

I've seen the trailer and I've gotta say they've done a pretty bad job with casting and background. I mean I wasn't even sure that guy was Jin or Kazama at first since he was missing his signature haircut, and that seemed like an easy enough task to do. They also did pretty bad job with tournament as well, I mean the whole movie looks like its just a cheap cinematic version of UFC when it should be much more traditional. Hell, at least give the mishima bloddline their lightning fist =_=.

I just saw this movie and it sucks bad . I wonder if the writers actually got to play the game . Steve Fox doesnt fight at all . Law doesnt do anything like bruce lee Christie Monteiro is not from Brazil and doesnt even know kapoeira and Heihachi acts like a good guy WTF!!! I hate to say this but hollywood is killing the Japanese anime and fighting games danm!!

it started as an independent film tho right? so in a way im a little impressed. if they had a big budget of course itd be better, too bad they couldn't remake it with a better budget.

Maybe you should stop spreading that wrong info. There are over 10 super talented martial artists in the film, some look exactly like their game figures and are experts in the same martial art. So, it's fucking amazing.

That being said, much of the fighting HAS been reduced to stunt fighting, and get this: personalities are screwed over. That's kinda important.

I meant that message to someone who posted here, not to the guy in this video. But yeah you have a point, but we need to wait till we see the movie / some acting. I do believe just simply mashing together these awesome guys, jon foo, cary tagawa, gary daniels, anton kasabov, darrin henson, lateef crowder etc would make a fantastic movie just watching them talk and do martial arts. I do fear the martial artists here don't get to show their full personal skill because coreography is done by 1 man
