the engines look like some pretty comfortable seats compared to the cramped unbalenced crown amusment park locomotives. the only thing our crowns have over these engines is raw speed and ease of operation. the only match for these english engines would be a sandley light railway engines.
Nannycatch ... thanks for the lovely childhood memories. I loved that train as a kid. The smells, the exciting sounds and ... the walk, complete with glorious fell views, finished off with a yummy picnic!
