Hey bro just wanted to say your gun looks and seems sick, I just had a few questions if that's cool, first how do you get your salvo to fire so far? Is it the apex2, the barrel? Or just all of the mods you've done to it. I'm getting an hpa tank and a 16" custom products tactical barrel in the mail and idk weather or not to get an apex2 or not if you could help me out bro itd be very much appreciated thanks for your time!

@jjfallmu Yes, that is true. If your stuck between the AB & the PS, I'd recommend the PS. Your going to get the same performance as the AB, but with way more customization possibilities. If your not big on customization, then it really doesn't matter which marker you go for, as long as your happy with the way it looks out of the box. hope that helps. Another thing also about your Apex2 barrel what size is that cause I bought me the 14" long one. My guestion is that barrel is in your gun securely with the ifit barrel kit. Let me know what you did to have it securely on your gun and thank you for all the info. and really appreciated very much.

worst thing about the egrip is the microswitch location of course. love the gun btw. could u possibly create a short video showing your external microswitch and where u soldered the wires to the board? i really want to do that

I just think i need to get like a raised rail mount like you do so it's easier to see through. any suggestions for a cheap but durable one? like $10-$15 range?
its a great all aroud gun, its got a lot of options. its a bit on the heavy side though, a sling should do the trick. the shroud is only connected by one screw so you have to have a barrel specially made for a shroud if you want it to be sturdy, unless you stick with the origional barrel. it hasnt let me down yet.

I'm getting the project salvo with the apex2 14" and a q-loader on the side I'm going to put my 500 $ scope on it that sets on my real assault trifle AR-15. And a battle grip. Are the rails the same size as a real gun. Cause it would be nice to flip flop my AR-15 mods with a project salvo when ever I wanted.
You have any ideas on how to attach or mount a expansion chamber on there that's hidden? I know you run a remote line and have no need for one but any ideas would be helpful.

This is one of the most extreme mods I've seen. I love it. I wish you had started with a A5 becuase I just started on a mod for a A5. I just finished installing a Qloader and I also put a frame around the qpod, but nothing as nice as yours. Screw the haters, I have 15 markers myself (NT, Ego's, T2, S6.5... so on) It's something to go out and buy a marker, but it's another to mod one which people admire.

@Evilstewie831 Got the counter on ebay for $10 - then i just soldered it in to the E-trigger micro-switch. obviously i had to mod the counter, i just opened it up and added connections to the circut board.
I just recently got the same marker and I was out to the pro shop around here and I was looking at the same G36 style carrying handle and the same sights. I also thought about a Q loader for when I can afford all this stuff.. So if you don't mind, I might have to think about doing something like that if i get a Q loader. Not sure yet though. xD The Salvo is my first gun aswell and so far its my only gun, me and you think the same bro. haha
@srgeanut if you want gun already milsim go salvo its essentially a 98 with cool shroud if you want a gun that you can fully customize your way go a5 plus the a5 is easy to clean and has much better internals as far as I'm concerned. I own both guns like the salvo but love my a5!
@srgpeanut8 I agree as well - the only reason i did all this to the salvo was its the gun i got started with. If i had known then that i was going to stick with paintball i may have chosen a different gun. But on the other hand this gun was very easy to work with and modify. I've taken the damn thing apart a million times now and its still going strong. check my latest video - Tippmann Project Salvo / First Strke Mod - i did a major mod that required me to actually cut and shave the body.

I just got one of these bad boys, ive benn using spyder products for the last 2 years and i finnally got tired of the ball chopping and bad duribility, so i thought a tippman sounded good. Also i dont like how some ppl look at your gun to tell if ur a beginner. A noob can buy a $500 dollar gun too???? @BetoFizzie Hey bro - thanks for the comments and compliments - Its an apex II 14" i got on ebay $45. but it wont fit the salvo alone - too short and the "silencer" part hits the shroud. I have the ifit barrel kit which adds 1.75 inch. if you just gonna run the barrel only, they sell an 18" version too. it will be 2 inch longer than how it looks on my gun. if you get ifit kit, you gotta mod the barrel shroud - if u do, hit me up, ill explain what you need to do. I got 3 more BIG mods comming!

Yes, that is true. The internals are the same, even the barrel thread. It comes down to your personal preference.

@Evilstewie831 Got the counter on ebay for $10 - then i just soldered it in to the E-trigger micro-switch. obviously i had to mod the counter, i just opened it up and added connections to the circut board.

I just recently got the same marker and I was out to the pro shop around here and I was looking at the same G36 style carrying handle and the same sights. I also thought about a Q loader for when I can afford all this stuff.. So if you don't mind, I might have to think about doing something like that if i get a Q loader. Not sure yet though. xD The Salvo is my first gun aswell and so far its my only gun, me and you think the same bro. haha

@srgeanut if you want gun already milsim go salvo its essentially a 98 with cool shroud if you want a gun that you can fully customize your way go a5 plus the a5 is easy to clean and has much better internals as far as I'm concerned. I own both guns like the salvo but love my a5!

@srgpeanut8 I agree as well - the only reason i did all this to the salvo was its the gun i got started with. If i had known then that i was going to stick with paintball i may have chosen a different gun. But on the other hand this gun was very easy to work with and modify. I've taken the damn thing apart a million times now and its still going strong. check my latest video - Tippmann Project Salvo / First Strke Mod - i did a major mod that required me to actually cut and shave the body.

@ghost210 no but it will if u have the techt ifit kit. the adapter adds an extra 2" which is i believe what he is using with a 14" apex 2. Correct?

I'm amazed with this high mod Salvo, I love it, great work man. Good thinking on the Q-Loader. The idea of the twin targeting 90' and 150' is gooooooooood. Well done with the digital counter. how you make it work? Thanks for this video, i was in the rush to get a RAP4 SE Bravo, but this stop me and make me think. One question its a way to add a 3000psi bottler at the shoulder butt of it and eliminated the remote?

I just got one of these bad boys, ive benn using spyder products for the last 2 years and i finnally got tired of the ball chopping and bad duribility, so i thought a tippman sounded good. Also i dont like how some ppl look at your gun to tell if ur a beginner. A noob can buy a $500 dollar gun too???? Ive been playing about 3-4 years. i just dont feel like spending tht much money for a marker.

It's all personal preference, I didn't mind spending the extra $15 to have 4 different reticles- I like using the crosshairs vs just a dot.

You did give me some ideas for my gun tho.... i like how you have two sights mounted, one for close range and the other for long, thats sick... What i really like tho is how you put the on off button for the e-grip on the side so its easy to turn on

I carry a M4, I was looking for something realistic to start P Balln, I was looking at a Rap4 T68, But after seeing yours I ordered a Salvo, all my accessoires, and a Q loader yesterday. @BetoFizzie Hey bro - thanks for the comments and compliments - Its an apex II 14" i got on ebay $45. but it wont fit the salvo alone - too short and the "silencer" part hits the shroud. I have the ifit barrel kit which adds 1.75 inch. if you just gonna run the barrel only, they sell an 18" version too. it will be 2 inch longer than how it looks on my gun. if you get ifit kit, you gotta mod the barrel shroud - if u do, hit me up, ill explain what you need to do. I got 3 more BIG mods comming!
