Did Abraham, Issac, Jacob, David, Solomon, Job & many other people loved by God get waited on for their meals? She is not telling people what they want 2 hear! She speaks continually about the need 2 forgive, which I didn't want 2 hear but needed 2 hear- as well as many other practical ways 2 put Jesus teachings in2 practise. If she's not the teacher 4 u, great but how do u get off throwing stones? Get the log out of ur own eye so u can see Joyce more clearly!

To be honest I don't follow TV evangelists much...heard of Joyce Meyers both good and bad but refuse to say she is a false teacher just cause maybe some of what she said is questionable. It would be like me saying that all those who preach pre-trib rapture are false teachers. God loves her and if she is wrong in something she has said ...then pray for her.... even write to her and express your concern or ask for clarification on what she said. Remember ... even Jesus was accused of heresy.

If you take fact out of context... you can make it say what you like...I can see that you love the Lord as do we all...But to judge her or anyone, is not our role in the Lords plan...For it is between God and them...she nor any of us are perfect....Let the Lord JUDGE...not us !!!! Sister when false teachers and prophets put themselves out in public, and make their living off the backs of the sheep, then they are open to public rebuke. It is our duty to warn the sheep, lest they fall into deception.

@blardosplats -You'd have to take that up with God, and His "book" which plainly states the following: Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. 1 Corinthians 6:2-4

Sometimes I don't understand why most people can't see Joyce Meyer's excesses and lavish lifestyle as not being of God, but perfect justice will come upon her when she faces the Lord and I would not want to be in her shoes when she does meet Him. I must confess, I was drawn in by her partial delivery of scripture, delivered with humor, but knowing the scripture description of Jesus - the way He lived life here on earth, always insisting on humble means and examples of serving others, I couldn't help but question her complete sincerity. I really want to believe the best in others. I don't to want gossip about her, but rather pray for her. If she repents, many will follow and it would be wonderful. I hope it happens before it's too late.

I have not heard the message of God spoken through this lady for some reason. We who are blessed with monetary riches here in the west, really are so far removed from the struggles in this world. I think it has a major impact on doctrines. Money and power is what caused Israel, the Jews, and then the church in Rome in medieval times, to create many doctrines (traditions) of men, which led people away from the commandments of God and exalted the creations as the Creator.
