Double tap doesn't speed up the time of opening the scope it increases the amount of fire.

There isn't such a thing as "private matches" on the PC version, get a better PC and play it. Only servers, and ownage. There isn't a friend system, or prestige, on the PC version. But there is on the PC version of World at War. And it's kind of harder to noscope on the PC version, but it's better. (The highest number of players I've played with in a server is 60+)

its really just up to preference if you perfer the extra bullet get the M40 if you like the high impact choose R700, that really is the only difference and the R700 has a bigger recoil

not true. When u put an Acog scope on the m40 with stopping power it gets a 5 point damage boost so it will be a 1 hit kill anywhere even in the foot.

I use R700 all the time, I'm so used to it if I used a Dragunov or any other I'd be shit, but using ACOG is great fun with that gun. I usually use the normal scope and red tiger. I prefer this over my gold dragunov anyday

whats better with acog m40 or r700

most people perfer M40 but i like R700 just cause it was harder to learn to use cause of the dif recoil and stuff. so start with m40 and slowly lean toward R700 if y
