If that is a standard black and that enjoys rotten food and sugar, Put a small pile of sugar in there every once in a while, for black ants, AKA sugar ants feed sugar to their queens for the queen to repopulate

how do you managed her to dig near the glass? it seams that there is a lot of space where she could place her nest the way not to let the light in.

i have a lasius niger queen and the larvae turned stiff they are kinda redish bron and a a black spot at the tip is this normale if so when will they leave this stage

@ctarshis01 yer this is very normal it sounds like the last stage called pupa or a coccon the next stage is a fully grown worker
