  • I ask myself if the guy at the end of the video is still alive.

  • @Maxxxshop Sure am! Getting ready to leave Afghanistan as I speak. 4 tours and still alive!

  • @EJBurke

That's good man. Didn't know it was you, who made that video. Take care of you.

  • damn turrent is made out of hilbilly armor, that is one brave badass top gunner.

  • wow the soldier in the HUMVEE is fucking hottt...

  • @SuperNicole722 Thanks! That was like 6 years ago though!!!

  • That'll buff out

  • heyyy hes cute at the end lol

  • That'll buff out.

  • @FelchBelcher damn you beat me to it.

  • the grenade that hit the M998 was a crazy one... it has a parachute that deploys when thrown and it has copper to penetrate armor... they throw them and run. Hope the ass hole who threw it got taken out

  • That looked more like a direct hit from an RPG. Speaking from experiance :)

  • u were in the war dude?

  • 04-05 heading back again soon for a refresher. Didn't get enough trigger time so the powers that be deemed it necessary to send me again.

    were you there?

  • @fajar154 really? cool

  • @fajar154 Could have been an anti tank grenade

  • Man Sweet Video, your a stud!!!

  • Like he said in the video u guys are lucky sons of bitchs hooaah keep your heads up OIF II was a success now make it OIF III

  • lucky indeed

  • rdivo4 the South African/Rhodesian "crocodile" was the first APV to employ this chanelling design 30 years ago, my fathers life was saved because of it. I can see why the Humvees are so vulnerable and i too am surprised the USMC have not been quicker to employ it in their vehicle designs

  • Is that covered under warranty?

  • Amazing!!!

Good thing they survived to tell the story

  • hmmm...makes more sense, you should see the next line of armored vehicles for the army, i forgot what its called but it looked weird and was said to be able to withstand a 500lb/IED, i dont know about that but we'll see

  • Absolutely correct. Most of the PMCs rolling in Iraq right now are riding the Mamba or the Casspir, mine-resitant APCs with V-shaped hulls that deflect most of the blast.

Too bad it's taking so long to procure similar vehicles for the Army and USMC.

  • The US just needs to put more armor on the undercarriage and reinforce the troop compartment more thats all

  • No, more than some sheet/plate metal armor is needed.

  • Just lucky they aren't like the other video's on youtube where the ied is a f*cking artillery shell inside the corpse of a dob laying hidden on the middle of the street. BOOOOOOM!!!!

  • a solution of ied ,is put more armor..

  • You cant add more armor, with a combat load of ammo, and the troops in it, vehicle weight is an issue...
