Reality check: a band you love and a band you hate very well could have similar characteristics and share a genre, regardless of how talented they are. I love MC Lars! I usually and mostly only listen to bands like Simple Plan, All Time Low, A Day To Remember, etc. but I must say, MC Lars songs are really catchy :)

He's talking about what the records label markets as emo, whether you like it or not, thanks to big record companies do, and hot top topic, mtv and other places push it. Linkin park used some industrial in there new song "the catalyst" and well theres industrial from japan also (Demonoid 13). i mean it never left as i said before. there are still a shit ton of new bands out right now.
