@jimmyshelter I can co-sign on the Spanish. They don't like Americans at all. Not to blame them, I mean I saw other American tourist there who were loud and obnovious. Pretty much fitting the American stereotype. I heard the French can be rude too. I think the resentment for Americans has been the worst since 9/11 and the Bush administration.

Argentinians (Spanish descendants) are not really welcomed in Spain. Koreans born abroad are called "2nd generation Koreans" and are also not really welcomed in the academic circles... although there is a single exception with Korean-Americans and Korean-Europeans, they are adored.
