  • + BMW uses Throttle Body injection...Each cilinder breathes through a separate valve...Much quicker response..

    The 24V V6 uses an intake manifold with a single butterfly valve to be used for all 6 cilinders...Dr Schrick once made a vacume operated special intake manifold wich created more torgue in the lower revs and giving all the air possible in the higher revs....

    But that manifold was only to be used on a 12 valve VR6...OR..?

  • If the set up was equal, like the VEnto VR6 challenge car, and a polish ported cilinderhead on a 2.9 engine all together with throttlebody injection.....This would give another result.......

  • ///M Power u meant =D

  • M/// = FAIL

    ///M = WIN

  • im gonna go and video a fight between a 5 year old boy and ricky hatton, fairly similar story here..

  • 200 ps 2.8 24v

    VS

    a 321 ps 3.2 24 v

    the beemer got a gti more horsepower inside

    so he beat the vr6 easy

    its not a fair race

  • also depends on what year vr6....my brother had a 01 with only 12 valves so if the bmw was racing one of those it would have been an easy sweep.

  • At least these guys knows whith what they are messing with. It's an M3, Mpower guys, hehehehe. Let's straight some things up, I'm a huge fan of GTI's and VR6's but if you don't upgrade these cars a little bit, they don't stand a chance against a M3, period.

  • it's a golf mk4 v6 4 motion, look at the dashboard

  • same thing

  • Maybe a V6?

  • That not a VR6 ...
