I think it's about the fantasy life a boy creates growing up in abusive home. And yet, when the father is gone, the abuse never ends. And when the boy can play the entire song on his own, all the fantasy animals come to mourn the father's death.

The grotesque of all this makes us realize the world is grotesque, and it's ironically fun.

The guy on the train saw blood on the window. He though there was something wrong with his brain while other passengers didn't even care about it. After he went to the doctor and took the medicine. He became "normal". Like the others who ignore bloods and dead bodies.
