Q1 is only 78 stories high with the observation deck at 77; Melbournes residential eureka tower is 91 floors high with the viewing deck at 88.

Q1 is only taller as it has a large mast protruding from its roof, where as the very top of Eureka Tower is the roof of the top floor, (no mast or antenna to increase its height.)

That said, I must say that was a beautiful view from Q1 that beats eureka in every way haha; thanks for sharing! ;)

Yeah we take em for granted but they rock don't they? I got to fly up the beach from Coolangatta recently at 500ft and the beaches looked f'n gorgeous. One great one after another. Also, at 500ft we were only halfway up Q1... its bloody massive! I might post the vid here on youtube - if anyone is interested look under q1 and cessna in a week or two.

Just put that view into perpective. All those 20 and 40 story hotels and appartment blocks look pretty tall from the ground! And here you are looking down on htem like they are a quatre to a half your height! That cool!

You dont quite that that at centrepoint because there are several buildsing of similar height!
