  • hey what do i need( equipment) to have for p90x

  • Just out of curiosity, did you start with lean or did you just jump right into classic?

  • Good Job, most people cant relate because they dont have the discipline, heart or determination to change themselves. Being fit and healthy isnt a choice, it's a lifestyle. I know. Congrats

  • well done!

  • that sounds like a commercial

  • awesome

  • Its hard to find someone who is around my age and weight to see the potential after these next 90 I'm 17 5'10 139lbs

  • Biggest douch turd video of for ever

  • @MuffeLuffe2 thanks for ur contribution

  • Great video, you failed to mention the diet and meal plan. It's important for people to know that workout alone is not going to do it, the meal plan and diet is 85% of it.

  • wheres ur abs

  • @jmataira for visible abs, body fat percentage has to be under 10%

  • You can always tell whos youtube videos where sponsored by P90X, because they are all fancy and epic.

  • @JayPCM FAIL...I'm not sponsored by anyone. I'm just passionate about my quest.

  • @JayPCM That's not super fancy or epic. I make videos with similar or higher production values from my vacation footage, about my dogs, kids graduations, etc. It's not as hard as you might think given tools like iMovie, etc.

    Kudos to powersurge333.

  • @truefirstmagic However, there are only 3 videos.. all related to P90X, and the video is all flashy. Looks like a marketing ploy to me.

  • Just ordered mine yesterday. CAN'T WAIT TO MEET THE NEW ME.. LETS GOOO!!!

  • Excellent results and hardwork pays. Dont stop, keep going....

  • what is the song at minute 2:03??

  • Awesome results man. Congrats, I just finished my 5th week's Kenpo, what's next now? P90x+ or Asylum

  • hey gj u sexy beast. i just ordered mine cuz after losing 70lbs on my own, i hit a plateau and im hoping this thing would get me to my ideal shape. Just out of curiosity, is it ok to have dumbells instead of stretch coords ?

  • Well done kid, i am thinking of doing the same what is the situation with maintaining same.

  • What I think?

Too many flashy effects that just brings skepticism and unreality to ones mind.

  • this is the best transformation video! truly inspiring. thanks.

  • GOOD JOB

  • I don't know why, but, I have that feeling like you were trying to sell something...

  • april 11th was my birthday aha, but i still had 24 days left

  • Capitan America

  • I'm here cuz i didn't understand what bruno mars sang about

  • @adraa27 in what song

  • THAT'S THE COUCH TO 5K SONG!

  • damn i need to get same wings.. i have arm msucle and shoulders and breast.. but i dont ahve the wings caus i dont know a way how to train my wings... anyone know something for home trainings?

  • @QuakeLiveDemo pullups, if my wings you mean lats, then pullups are the best, and yeah... no substitute for it

  • where can i get a copy of p90x?

  • try p90x and lose weight and get ripped in 90 days . try allinstocksales website to find p90x for less

  • i replace push ups with bench press and pull ups with cable pull downs.....

i do chest n back and arms n shoulders @ the gym... that way i have the things i need and get better results...

  • Yes the program is called p90x, but it isn't designed to be used for 90 days then tossed in the trash. After 90 days you will see amazing results. This isn't some kind of gimmick. After 90 days, you will be in shape to transition into other things. For example, I plan on training for and entering local sprint triathlons. At some point though I will do another round of p90x. My point is it can be part of a life change, and it is not just a crash course.

  • @OwenAlex52 no.

  • I just started P90X and I can do all the workouts but I can barely get through Ab Ripper X. Any advice anyone???

  • @avengedsevenfold100 just keep trying. i couldn't even lift my legs on the the fifer scissors the first month. i am on day 62 and i can pretty much do all of it but still struggle. i started at 216 lbs day 1 and am now 193. just try your best everyday and progress will make itself.

  • @metalmanamir Thanks for the advice. And congrats on your progress, that's awesome!

  • P90x promotes the idea of fast results. And if followed right, it can, but it promotes people to get fit for the wrong reasons, it attracts people who just want to lose fat in time for the summer, so they can look good at the beach and get laid. Nothing wrong with that, but the right reason to get fit is to be healthy for all your life, and that isnt doing a hardcore 90 day program that's going to burn out a lot of people.

  • @blastofo yeah i never put myself in those shoes i guess. lol but it still pays off to be a thrifty shopper and look for the DVDs and equipment on ebay or craigslist....still i apologize that i blew up i get kinda testy when i hear criticism for a program that is my passion lol but also whatever people have to do to pursue a healthy lifestyle is great and no one can deny that lol:)

  • ive been working out for a few years now, but ive took this last year off. im about 5 10" and 175 pounds. and i was thinking about taking cell tech every other week during round two? what is your oppion?

  • weight lifting gets u better results the thing is most people dont properly lift weights and just do it cassually u wanna get ripped as fuck?

    better start liftin heavy

  • i just see a guy working out. what product are you trying to sell me? 'cause i don't see it.

  • What kind of dumbbells do I need?

  • you like starwars ? :L

  • @jlotus100 I am 360 pounds and i am only 16. I do it just for you if you bought me it man!

  • lol. even the dog was tired

  • I was able to lose a little over to 30lbs in less than a month... 22 days. I am a real living person. I dropped from 247 to around 215-218lbs...and have not went above 218 since stopping..I used P90x and a product called hcg alternative....They really work...

  • "... So was my dog" HAHAHHAHA!

  • I see that you are using the Ironmaster dumbbells in the video. I am going to buy a pair of adjustable dumbbells soon. So as far as using them for P90x how are they speed wise? How long does it take to change weights and do you have to pause the video? Do you think that they would be better suited for P90x than the urethane modle s of the Powerblock dumbbells? Please let me know, thank you! =)

  • Congratulations Bro!

  • I just finished my P90x transformation.. Im 14. check it out

  • well done man, im doing this for next years soccer season and is working wonders for me, im past day 90 and going till tryout day. keep it up man!

  • how tall are u?

  • Does P90X work your legs as well? I see a lot of people posting results videos that only show their upper bodies.

  • @Bojaxs any cardio will reduce fat on your entire body. but if you want to build muscle on your legs then you need to hit the gym.

  • Great job.. Good video too.

  • Go go go :)

  • I guess what I'm trying to say is: if you're a skinny guy who already has low body fat% but wants to put on muscle, then p90x is NOT for you, you need to lift heavy in the gym and eat eat eat (healthy foods ofc).

  • Did you use any supplements? Protein or creatine? in what part of the program did you start using?

  • dude, i'm basically right where you were. I am like 198 lbs and have been so for the past few years, It doesn't look terrible because i am 6ft tall but in short, i have the same body type as you had. I have been thinking of starting this program... the thing is, i don't wanna build muscle, i wanna get lean. you know what i mean?

  • u have to lose more body fat.. but it was great... try to go for a cardio workout now

  • Paying a small fee is worth it if that small fee is going to turn your life in the direction it should go in just 90 days - the rest of your life

  • All of you who are saying its pointless to buy a "90 day quick fix program' arent looking at it how you should be. People buy this so they have something to follow, aand once they SEE the great results they get, they decide to stay on the course of gym time and eating right. It's not about a quick fix, its about reaching a goal, and using that goal to keep yourself motivated to continue to MAINTAIN the goal that you reached.

  • Hooray nerdy fitness testimonials! Congratulations!

  • Whatever 90 or 100 days it is, the core in getting fat burn and end up in toned muscle is "CONTROL DIET & HARD WORKOUT IN GYM". That's the simple as that!!!

  • @kogula14 exactly what I'm saying, p90x can get you lean but you need to lift heavy ass weights at the gym and eat at a caloric surplus to gain muscle. You can do cutting without p90x at all, since 90% of it is diet + 10% weight training. There's no point in spending money on these "90 day" programs unless you decide to quit after 90 days and don't mind putting all the fat back on? lol

  • I just uploaded my transformtaion. check it out. im 14

  • Comment removed

  • @jlotus100 There is one, /watch?v=xCI7k4sZqsA&hd=1

I think that was 180 days though

  • @jlotus100 - You didn't think I was fat? Oh you're making me blush. Actually I understand where you are coming from. The newest P90X informercial has a guy who lost 150 lbs in about a year. There are plenty of people who have gone from obese to fit....of course it didn't happen in 90 days but its still pretty remarkable to see people lose 100lbs or more after doing 4 or more rounds of this. In the end it doesn't matter how long it takes so long as you get there, right?

  • @powersurge333 Im like you..im not exactly fat or overweight...but my belly goes out further then my chest. My girlfriend tells me im not fat, but i KNOW im fat lol.

  • @whatniqqaplease >25% bf = overweight, I think. >30% would be obese. If your belly goes further then your chest chances are you are overweight. Just eat at a caloric deficit with 1g protein/lb lean mass, and lift heavy 3 times a week and you're all good.

  • @boboDaKilla Well when im wearing a shirt you cant exactly tell my belly is big, unless i wear one of those tite hollister shirts. You can see a fat person nomatter what type of shirt they wear.

  • @jlotus100 p90x is too hard for someone who is seriously obese and out of shape. if you haven't been working out and aren't basically already in shape, start with p90 or some other program, then try to tackle p90x.

  • @hovelfrog that's me My husband is doing P90X, but I'm too heavy to start so I'm doing slim in 6 first. Don't wanna risk injury :)

  • @hovelfrog that's me My husband is doing P90X, but I'm too heavy to start so I'm doing slim in 6 first. Don't wanna risk injury :)

  • @johnandsara It's not a matter of being obese, it's a matter of what your body can handle and proper technique. P90X's exercises amount to an excellent program, but they can be high impact. If you have joint trouble or any physical limitation, then speak with a physician about a routine that is right for you. As with any exercise, from walking and running to weight training and yoga, you need to practice proper technique to both maximize results and reduce the risk of injury. Good luck! :)

  • @jlotus100 another thing is that really obese people shouldn't do this type of workout to begin with. It's very high impact & the risk of injury is too high.As a matter of fact something else you don't see in the infomercial is that there is a fit test to complete to do it.An obese coworker of mine started this & she thought I was being rude when I asked her if she passed her fit test, but sure enough during week 3 she got a severe sprained wrist.I'm too fat so I'm doing slim in 6 to do P90X! :)

  • @johnandsara Well I'm obese and I'm doing it. I'm on week six and no injuries so far.

  • @jlotus100 a guy who weighted 370 lbs lost 177 lbs in a year! you will probably find him soon

  • if you wanna get ripped follow these 3 rules, don't need p90x at all:

    1. calculate your maintainance calories and eat a few hundred cals below it per day

    2. eat 1g protein/lb lean body mass to perserve muscle mass

    3. weight train heavy 3 times a week to perserve muscle mass

    success garanteed.

  • @boboDaKilla - if it were that easy then everyone would be fit. P90X is one of many tools that people can use to achieve their goals. I think the best thing to do is pick any one of the millions of tools out there and stick with it. The common bond between all programs and what you just wrote is: hard work with diet and exercise done consistently over time. THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED.

  • @powersurge333 p90x does work if you wanna get shredded, but what's the point of buying a 90 day program if this is a LIFE commitment (I hope it is for you)? What happens when you're done with p90x or it gets too easy for you? Are you gonna wait for em to come up with a new program and buy it again? Since I'm assuming you wanna be ripped for LIFE, you could've signed up for a gym and follow those 3 rules I listed (cutting then bulking), and P90x does NOT build mass, lifting heavy ass weights do.

  • @powersurge333 he didnt say its easy.getting ripped is one of the hardest things to do,yet one of the simplest ones.if p90x helps people get fit then i am ok with it.take care, great job.

  • @powersurge333 yes, it is that easy, the hard part is to do it for the rest of your life.

  • @boboDaKilla Thats totally correct if you ad 20-60 mins cardio every day

    you Scooby1961 fan too?

  • @boboDaKilla Yeah, you don't necessarily need the P90X.There are other ways to get ripped.I like it because it's great for people like me who don't know anything about exercise and nutrition. The results speak for themselves.

  • @remyrem121 alot of ppl are confusing "ripped" with "lean/skinny". "ripped" = having good muscle mass + low bf%. P90x is a great cardio program that will get the SECOND part done, but unless you have a decent muscle base to start with, you might end up looking like the walking dead after p90x. To put muscle mass on you u need to start doing squats/deadlifts ect. in the gym with heavy weights and eat at a carloric surplus, which contridicts p90x since it's a "cutting" program.

  • @boboDaKilla Well, I'm hardly an expert so I won't argue with you.You seem like you know what you're talking about, so I'm sure your right.I never had problems adding mass.I always struggled with staying lean, which is why the P90X has been great for me.It's not for everyone , I'm sure.

  • @remyrem121 p90x will get you lean, i don't doubt that. What's the most important part in p90x isn't actually the exercises you do but the diet plan they give you, since you need to eat less than your maintainance calories/day to get lean, while lifting weights and eating enough protein to maintain your muscle mass so you won't look like a skeleton when you get "cut". You have trouble getting lean is because you're probly eating more cals than you need.

  • @boboDaKilla You either lose weigt and lose muscle or gain weight and gain muscle..

you can't lose weight and gain muscle at the same time! Those type of goals are contradicting each other.

This is why people do heavy cardio and achieve the body size they want (lean) then start bulking w/ heavy weight training regime.

  • @HCNguyen86 it IS possible to acheive both at the same time (noob gains ect.), but it's very inefficient. Cardio isn't needed at all to get lean (but it's still beneficial for many other reasons and will burn more cals for you), diet + lifting will get you there. Some people have alot of fat and very little muscle base, so they'll still look bad when "lean".

  • @boboDaKilla i wanna see a vid of your before and after. seems kind of too general for anyone. weight train heavy 3 times a week? how?

  • @delli2011 what you mean how? go find a lifting routine and do it, hit every muscle group once a week.

  • @boboDaKilla I see you're a fan of scooby xD

  • @76Cent what the hell is scooby?

  • @boboDaKilla lol, the key in p90x is the huge variety of exercises, the non-stop flow, and the great motivation from Tony

This you don't get at the gym

  • @korvix I'm not doubting px90 as a great cardio workout, but thats all it is. you wont put on much muscle mass with the program, and you shouldn't pay to have motivation for yourself. 4 sets of heavy squats and deadlifts will do way more for you than px90 ever will, try it man.

  • physical fitness is a long term lifestyle choice, not a 90 day crash course. p90x program isnt that cheap on its own, let alone the weights you have to buy for it. and if you really want to go hardcore with the program, you'd need access to gym equipment anyways. A lot of people plateau after the 90 days on the program. Plus pretty much every before and after video, the person isnt flexing in their original photo, like they are in the after photo.

  • @blastofo agreed. It's the diet thats most important, P90x just makes you burn more calories (like any other exercise). if you eat 10000 cals a day and do p90x you'll still look like shit.

  • @blastofo - over time P90X is about 600% cheaper then belonging to a gym and equally more effective as well. Its not for everyone....and NO you don't plateau after 90 days you modify the workouts further or change the frequency and or weights. I've been doing it on and off for two years.

  • @powersurge333

Who says you need to belong to a gym. All you need to get a great body is a cheap set of used dumbells, a bar for pull ups and chin ups and optionally a bench. All the information provided in P90X and then some is around for free on the internet, without the need to buy and watch DVDs and have P90X supplements and equipment pushed on you. It's great for the couch potatoes but an informed person could get a more effective, cheaper workout at home.

  • @powersurge333

  • @powersurge333 seriously no offence, but saying p90x is more effective than the gym is plain retarded, I can do both cutting and bulking at the gym while p90x can only do the first part. Last time I checked, you don't eat at a caloric surplus and squat/deadelift 300lbs with p90x, the program isn't meant for putting on mass. Hell, you don't even have to do any cardio at all to get lean, diet + weight training will get the job done.

  • @boboDaKilla finally, someone that knows what they're talking about. Theirs just certain equipment and techniques that you're going to need in order to achieve certain goals and most of this equipment is costly and unpracticle to own for personnel use. without them you'll just be limited to your own body weight (like with p-90x) which is a very limited (not bad) program. that's why we pay to go to a gym people!

  • more efective? I don't think so buddy... do your homework

  • @powersurge333 somthing cant be 600%cheaper, that would mean you get money back retard.

  • @jas190rs I think the true "retard" is the person who peruses through youtube videos calling other people retards. nice going champ. I hope they polish your "genius trophy" before they give it to you. jerk off.

  • @powersurge333 I have been apart of a gym for 2 years and I have never felt a workout as intense as P90X its done more for me in the 3 days I been doing it then they gym did in 2 years and thats with doing exactly what all the magazines say and the team of fitness coaches I have at the gym (not a cheap gym) the only thing I dont get is a sauna but a hot shower works for me and its all at home. so BRING IT!!!!!!!!!

  • @blastofo dude ur crazy...p90x is far cheaper than a long term gym membership! i got the powerblocks from craigslist for $100 (5-50 lbs), pull up bar from Ross for $15, yoga mat from Ross for $8, tell me how is this expensive! :P

and as for the plateau ur an idiot, thats why we make hybrids including insanity, one-on-ones, p90x+ and other beachbody videos..

as to ur final point are you blind or just plain stupid, ur telling me you cant see the change, even not flexing they're ripped as fuck :D

  • @ultimateeaglesfan15 if it worked for you, and continues to work, then that's awesome. a lot of people who live in small apartments don't have room to work out in their living rooms. P90x most places is $150. I got a 1 year 24hr fitness membership for $150. And I have access to lots of nice equipment I could never afford, not using those silly rubber bands, and I can go to the gym with friends, which motivates me. Don't knock that.

  • @blastofo

It's great that the gym is working for you but I've been going for 3 years on and off with friends. It didn't give me the results I wanted though and all my partners have been flaky as hell. I'm on week 3 with the program and I've never been pushed so hard. I still have my gym membership but I only go once a week for the chest exercises. Don't knock p90x, it's a good layout that is working for a lot of people.

Plus, what's wrong with wanting to look good and get laid more? :P

  • eating the right amount of cals and macros per day is 90% of losing weight, 10% is exercise

  • @boboDaKilla

Oh how right you are, Eat crap = look like crap, Eat great = Look great.

  • you're still chubby dude lol

  • Love the song at 2:05

  • NICE WORK!! LOVE THE X

  • Does it work faster with people who weight less

  • congrats on your results man! u deserve it hard work pays off brother!

  • Thank you so much for this inspiration (:

It really does mean a lot to me.

  • Good job man!! I look on youtube daily for inspiration to keep pushing play. I'm on day 20 as of today and I was also at 25% body fat, now I'm at 22%. I really appreciate you posting your progress it makes me continue going hard. Kudos!!

  • Congratulations! Well done!

  • Holy Moley you look great!!!!

  • so was there any dieting you had to do?

  • DO YOUR BEST AND FORGET THE REST

  • so i've been doing p90x for a month and the workouts i've noticed have gotten easier.. but i haven't lost a pound... and it really sucks because knowing i haven't gotten results almost makes me want to quit, any advice?

  • @ZER0V1dzz eat healthier!

  • this is not an amateur video , this is P90X ad isn't it ?

  • @zikuskate Most of the p90x videos I've seen have been done by "coaches" its strange, they seem to have a lot more coaches than athletes lol

  • I want to look like that

  • space is sooo cool! and I love space.

  • @MidichlorianChapters GOOD FOR YOU! Hooray for Hair!!!!! :)

  • i have done both P90X and Insanity........P90X is nothing dont waste your money this guy is proof on how much it doesnt work! you wanna try something try insanity P90X is definitley an easier workout but you get results on the harder stuff

  • @B9King937 Yeah...I'm total proof that it doesn't work.....25 lbs in 90 days is a total waste. Wow...what a negative jerk. Go away and stop trying to be "hard". Insanity is awesome, but in no way can anybody who was in my condition start with Insanity and hope to get results and still be alive. GO away.

  • @powersurge333 Love your answer to B9king937

  • whats the song at 2:05

  • @ooUnReaLz not sure....something from my iMac

  • it so easy to talk thrash on something you haven`t even tried.

    I bet you`ll run out of gas after 20 minutes...maybe less .:)

I finished the 90 days and started all over again.

It`s pretty extreme and becuse of that it`s immposible not to get results.

    Cheers.

  • @stratrov Hells yeah! totally agree!

  • Your persistence paid off. Congrats!

  • no bs does it really work, i want to buy it but read mixed reviews on it. im 6'3 and weigh 212 i am also out of shape no abs or anything, i would like to gain mucsle and abs for summer. so should i do p90? or gym, but gym seems like a waste of $ and time.

  • @kp7100 gym is definitley a waste of money. majority of the reviews youll get are positive. take this from an 18 year old athelete going to play college baseball. ive done it and it got me in great shape for ball and im still doing it. the people who say it doesnt work is because they couldnt do it or have never tried it. i was skeptical to try it as well and now I LOVE IT. i say you go for it

  • @kp7100 screw the gym....try P90X and it'll work. Dude, 3 million people have tried it and its worked for most fo them...much better success rate than the gym. check out my link and you'll get a better rate on the purchase. thanks for the comment. take care!

  • @kp7100 if you just want to get in shape than go p90x. If you want to gain a lot of muscle and get shreded go gym. It all depends on your goals.

  • @kp7100 I work out all the time, and do alot of hard stuff, and when I tried p90x abs I could barely do it. This stuff no doubt will show results

  • @kp7100 Absolutely! Tony always says "DO YOUR BEST AND FORGET THE REST", it WILL work, it is an awesome program!

  • @kp7100 I lost 40 lbs doing P90x...if you stick to the plan it works...the question is do you?

  • @kp7100 if you are skinny and want to add mass do high weight with 8-10 reps the 10th one should feel like hell when doing it. When doing the pull ups buy a weight belt to add weight to your pull ups. with all that you will get big and ripped. goodluck

  • @kp7100 learn to use piratesbay and it will make your life both easier and cheaper in many ways... get the program free on there mate it should download in about a day and its free. get the documents after downloading the video.

  • @kp7100 I agree with powersurge333. a good point my bf made (who also does p90x): if you join the gym, you have the time to get pumped up to exercise, more time to get ready and get your stuff together for the gym, the drive there, AND the drive back. with p90x its right there waiting for you! there are also plenty of people who are much larger than you and have lost it all..Im sure you can do it too :)

  • im starting day 1 today...cant wait to get home and get closer to my goal. Good results man...hopefully i will make a video soon

  • To people who say p90x doesn't work because you did the work and it showed nothing...DID YOU HAVE A DIET? Anyone can do the physical work, so that's not a challenge. The REAL challenge is eating right. I work out and run, but I don't eat right, so I'm not ripped by any means. My best of friends who work out, they eat healthy and they have beach bodies. So try the p90x again, but do good dieting.

  • P90X definitely works, but it's only for people who want to lose fat.

  • @coolboy111 IT is not only for people who want to loose fat. It is so versatile that it can be anything. All you have to do is type 'p90x' in a search on yt and you will see how different ppl achieve different results. It has Classic, Lean and Doubles routine. All three working on achieving different things. Also, weight-lifting is 8-10 reps HEAVY for size or 12-15 lighter for toning. Diet is also different for different goal sets and people. P90X rocks! Don't mind his comment!

  • @knnmala1

Yes it's versatile, but it's definitely not the optimum, I repeat OPTIMUM program if your goal is to put on mass. There's a lot more better programs if that is your goal. Don't take me wrong, P90X is a very good program, but it's all about what you want to achieve. I suppose you have never tried a 3x/week full body routine (focused on compound lifts) and if you haven't, you really have no idea.

  • some many haters wth?

  • @srdjanjiji There're are a few haters on every YouTube video, it's called insecurity. I guess to have winners in this world you have to have a few losers.

  • i want to ask a question to anyone that would know about fitness. i have some very uneven body strength, my right arm is very very much stronger then my left, my body has the same thing going is what it looks like, and my feet are pretty uneven in strength because i seem to put a lot of stress on my right leg when i go for a run and play basketball. btw im 130 pound male 5ft 5 inches. so i guess that would consider me skinny and would like to add some weight. is this for me? can anyone help?

  • You look really beef now i need to make a big change like you did :)

  • Nice, congrats man. How much can you dead lift now?

  • @ItalMafioso Actually, since I've done P90X I haven't deadlifted or leg pressed in over a year. FYI....My best deadlift was 315 for 4-6 reps (not a lot but a decent amount) and 540 on the leg press for reps of 6-10. I could have done more but never wanted to max out and get hurt.

  • Are you still training? You're active on YouTube but we haven't seen another video for a while, did you do any more rounds?

  • what did your diet consist of? and what supplements if any did you take? i want to start mine but i got the cds from a friend without the nutrition guide im 511 240lbs and i wanna get down to 175 (high school weight)

  • @MeBZ16 yah...total lies. Yup..I got paid to do this. How did you figure that out???? wow....you are a genius. why are so many people on youtube so ignorant?
