  • I had a rough spot with mine ...so I went back and found the piece of paper that came with the engine and then set the needles to the basic position. i then lened out the low a tiny bit and the high an even tinier bit and now it is reliable.

    i run a 22 X 8 Zoar I also use a three blade 19 X 10 Biela

  • I am having the same problem, the tune is great on the ground but as soon as you go to take off and in the air the mid to low range burbles like crazy. I am still working on it. The plane had a mishap with a tree and I just about have the wing fixed then I can get it tuned right.

  • @NUTNDUN Im having this same problem while running on a AS POWER can, on the ground everythign is fine, get in the air and it doesnt seem right, did you find out what it is?

  • Mine ran just as good on the ground, but when I got it in the air the mid range was horrible. It needed some tweaking

  • it might be how much pressure u have in the clowl. letting to much air in with put to much pressure on the carb. but still enough for cooling.

  • could you tell us what prop? and gas to oil ratio

  • Yes, it was a TBM 22 x 8 prop and still on it's first gallon of breakin fuel 87 octane with 32:1 penzoil air cooled.

  • Thats the perfect combination for breaking in
