Arcanum is actually a really fun rpg. Only game I know of you can play an ogre wizard with a flamethrower XD

I wish they had included voices in the game. Oswald could be a lot like Syndrome; a well meaning but bitter person who turned to evil out of rejection.

Actually I've seen the cutscenes for this game and he does stay pretty resentful, but also stays faithful to the original innocence of the character. There is a terrific scene where Oswald swivels in a throne designed to look like his own face to glare at Mickey, his fingertips joined together. Its so perfect I couldn't help but smile :)

There was a cartoon short made by Disney on Halloween called 'Runaway Brain'. In that Mickey Mouse and a Frankenstien style monster switch bodies, and the result of a monster brain in Mickey's body is that crazy yowling monster you see XD

Sadly the idea of Mickey's dark side or 'Scrapper' is no longer in the Epic Mickey game.

This is really great. I like that you put in enough vague but potentially relevant clips to fill all the extra spaces, and the voices you chose worked well to set the scene.

The clips are from a number of places. The skeleton is from Fern Gully and the ink splatters are from a CGI short film called Moloch. The dialogue is the main villain from the game Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magical Obscura :)

This was made before any footage of the game came out so that was actually meant to be Oswald at the time XD

I thought it would be interesting if he'd 'let himself go' which would make him further angry at Mickey for being perennially youthful. New gameplay show that Oswald actually hasn't changed much and isn't really the villain, but I think it might have been interesting to see essentially two movie stars feeling their age locked in a cosmic struggle...

I like how the syndrome voice really fits in. It gives Oswald an embittered, yet cynical edge. And you made this so well I can't imagine Oswald as having a different voice. Plus I know this is obvious because besides silent movies there aren't any recent clips of him you could put in. But the fact he isn't really present in the trailer gives him a more mysterious edge.

Well old reports seemed to indicate Oswald would be the villain, his jealousy about Mickey fueled when his world is nearly destroyed (by accident) by the mouse who also took his career, and played upon by the manipulative nihilistic Phantom Blot. I loved the idea of Oswald creating an anti-Disney Land for him to rule over, kind of like Kahn to Mickey's Captain Kirk. The Phantom Blot could be the true power behind Oswald's throne, maybe even the force that causes the two to unite at the end...
