ADD/ADHD.... when he's older they'll call it Bipolar Disorder and start ramming Anti psychotics his throat. These drugs are evil, don't let them play this game with that boy, the drugs for ADD/ADHD will only cause symptoms of Bipolar Disorder down the road, which changes the meds, which toasts your brains even more, which changes the meds and leads to a vicious cycle. I know this all to well, keep him safe.
this very smart boy is 100% normal, i have a boy with mild adhd and is no similaritys what so ever! the boy in the vid is happy with his farther but needs contact with mum, as far as his meds he said he doesnt want them and blatently dosent need them ! i think dad is spot on and should have custody, hes doing a great job and good luck!!!!!
I'd love to know what MD saw this kid & determined he had ADHD. Mom probably told MD what her kid had & got him to prescribe the Adderral. Also, Mom probably MD shopped until she got what she wanted. Sounds like Mom can't handle a very smart, active kid.
Wow, the kid said "define mature" Not an expert, but without knowing anything except what's in this video, I would say this kid has so much potential and may not be able to fulfill all of it. This drug won't help him do that. He needs love and support and learning.
If that child would have ADHD he would've been doing different things in that room and not paying attention at all to the officer, he probably acts up with the mother because of what she does, is not the kid is surely the mother!!!! He seems to be a very well adjusted child,he seems to be mature for his age, too.
If you don't think he needs Adderall now, you will when he's older and in high school. Unless you plan on homeschooling him for the rest of his life...
I agree he shouldn't be on it at his age, but going through a higher education with ADHD is terrible. Almost impossible.
I also refused to 'medicate' my son. He NEVER displayed any of the actions at home that he did at school. That was my argument to the school.... I turned the tables and accused THEM of not seeing what my son needed and wanted an easy way out by drugging him. They finally placed him in a private school, at their expense, where he blossomed with NO DRUGS! He was finally diagnosed as Aspergers....aka the 'little professor syndrome': smart kids who just learn differently!
I'm sorry that they took your son away from you. At the same time, kudos to you for refusing to put your son on medication for this "disease". Children are being labelled all over the world every day and put on these ridiculous medications!! Just doctors trying to make a buck
The majority of people that have ADHD probably are just bored with what they are doing for a living or what they happen to be doing at the time.
To check if a kid has ADHD they should find a game he likes alot, then let him play it, if they can focus then its probably just the fact that they were being forced to do something they didn't like, which means they probably wouldn't focus on that subject.
If the kid cant remember seeing the doctor then the doctor probably doesn't even know enough about the kid to decide if he has mental issues, not that ADHD is serious, let kids be kids.
Drugging a 2nd grader because they cant focus on something is horrible.

Mommy needs to do her homework and listen to the child. These drugs are bad news and the child knows it.

This is how a normal kid acts. Parents resort to drugs to tame the kids that they can't control. About 5% of ADHD prescribed kids actually need it.

We need to take our country back. I'm only 20 and I can see the corruption and Irrational laws being passed.
Nobody should be able to force you to drug your child, that is horrible.
Was he on drugs in this video or was he sober? He seems like a chill kid.
You could always give him a pill every now and then to keep it in his system if they check, but then flush the rest.
