I moved far away from him to another state so he cannot destroy my life nor that of my wife and kids. Read "the 4 agreements." It will help you.

Try creating a picture of what you see your life to be.. then hold that picture in your thoughts. When the drama starts go back to your vision and stay focused. Try not saying I want this or that because the universe creates want as well. Try saying, I see myself this way or that way and eventually you will have the life you want. Hope this helps.

Jan- You do not indicate upon what experience or reference material you base your conclusion that "in trance one does not have facial expression or control over such things."

In any event, in a true DEEP trance at this level there is full control of physical expression.

Since there are very few true DEEP trance channels that exist at any particular time, or ever, your generalization is understandable.

However, even in light trance states emotion and facial movement are common.

First of all, try to always focus on the positive of what you want. For example, there is a HUGE difference on focusing on "wanting to be healthy"... as opposed to "not wanting to be sick". The universe tends to focus on the "noun" and tends to ignore words like "not".

In the above example, the focus will be either on "healthy" or "sick".... opposites....

Think about what you think about. Thoughts are powerful things.
