When the choirs hit me at 3:23, I knew this would be the greatest album I've heard in years. I can't think of any band that has managed to truly meld melancholy and true happiness into one great joyful package honoring life and love. The build-up from 3:07 to the end of the song is absolutely massive, simultaneously crushingly sad but oh so beautiful. I feel dizzy every single time I listen to this, it always reminds me why I will never stop loving life.

am abig fan of anathema since early 90's, since they formed with my dying bride,lost paradise the british doom/death metal scene,yet they changed alot , but you know what just because asong is quiter,softer,not as noisy it doesnt mean its less sick :) , LONG LIVE ANATHEMA

Awesome song, this is easily one of the best albums of the year. I love when a band that can really evolves and not to be stricttly rigid to their influences. It shows infinite talent and passion, two key aspects of real music. Hopefully a lot of people can hear this CD and can find and enjoy the beauty of it. In this sea of garbage which is today's music, Anathema is one of a kind.

I wasn't so sure about this song until about 1:50...thank God I was proved wrong. You should really go back and listen to the Crestfallen EP and see how much they have changed, it's bloody mad and fantastic...their old music was great, I mean very fucking great, but Hindsight blew my brains out of my skull. I'm glad they went mellow.
