I didn't chain wolves, i waited til later on in the game and chained urutan yensas. I got 99 earth stones before even leveling up.

By the way, do you know about reverse chains? Reverse chains are when you fight and make sure you kill a different enemy to the one previous so you don't even get to a 2 chain. this doesn't give you as good rewards (only the same as chain level 3 in terms of loot), and there's no visual indicator, but this means you can include very rare enemies i.e: that drop very special items

hyenas are wolves aswell so dont think ur limited to just one area so long as u dont go through an area without killoing even one wofl or hyena you can keek ur chain from eastersand village to zertinaan cavers... if i even go thte name right D:

These are wolves, there are a lot of wolves.

You know that you get a higher chain drop faster if you dont pick the loot up! So ignore the drops until the highest level chain, and then start picking them up. I would start dustia at level 10 and with about 2k gold. And do it to atleast level 30, maybe even level 50.

Has anyone noticed how this game is set up like an MMORPG? They have gambits so you only have to control your character (if you want to) and they have a heavy insistence on grinding tricks.

This is a lot easier to do out in the desert with the crab enemies. Its been a while since i've played, so i can't remember what they're called. Anyway, ive chained over 800 before, and after that i just maxxed out on their rare items so there was no point in going on.

the things that the animals or any other preditor dropes. it will be a very good idea to pick them up. if you do you can go back to the city and sell them you can make some money and buy alot of new things

Did it chained to 84 got 98 wolf pelts 56 wind stones and about 25 potions. I kept the potions. but anyways in the end all the pelts and wind stones got me 5978 that combined with my current gil got me 7000 gil. Got to lvl 4 from 1 by doing this too. >:d

me eqquiped vaan with the dagger since its basicly as strong as the sword vaan holds right now and dagger like weapons are much faster then swords:p

watch at how fast penelo attacks and how fast vaan it rly makes an different in boss battles orso

hey, i was watching another walkthrough of this game (a few months ago XD) and she found an easy way to level up. there was this one monster in the desert (i forgot which area) that is RIGHT NEXT to the entrance. she just hit it once then wnet out of that area and kept repeting that. it was pretty cool,but it took her, like, 2 whole vids to cover it -_- XD

btw, the wolves sound so sad when they're killed T.T

I didn't used the chain trick (probably should try to get these Forgotten Grimoires (I'm only at Bhujerba)), but I tried to get all the marks I could before moving out.
