All three makers will do what you need them too if you take care of them. Ions have a bad rep probably cause the are so cheap and most owners bought them and never took care of them. If you take care of the marker you have it will work just as well as any other one. It may not look as nice or be as light or quiet, but your playing paintball not going to a photo shoot.

The Dm7 is the best gun by far of the 3.

DM7's are IMHO better than early DM8's, and second only to DM9's.

The PMR is OK for a $200 gun and I won't even comment on the ion.

get the viewloader eVLution 3 its like 65 buks and it gets 23 balls persecond and has the same freefall rate as a halo B hopper its really good, you might think its ugly but it looks pretty ballin on your gun and its perfect for the ion

the DM7 wins without doubt. The ion is an excalent cheap gun but in many cases, you get what you pay for and thats the DM7. PMR is also very good, the next step up from an ION.

IONs are good, for the price they cost. I had mine for a year, when I started to play, and it was great. All the guns in the vid are OK, for me. Even EGO SL-74 won't do you any good, if you dont know how to play PB.

Yearly released guns don't change much, it's probably a 3 year jump, like the DM3 to the 4, and the DM5 to the 6. Maybe it will jump between the DM8 and 9, but it won't be a weight jump, it will probably be a bolt modification.

You can no longer get pulses, unless someone is willing to sell theirs, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who would lol. But to phychodrifterdrummer, a reloaderB or a HaloB with a v35 chip would be good for the pmr.

well actually its only the lpr and fuse bolt that makes it better now :p pmr took a flying leap from 2008 to 2009, way better quality now. i shot one last week, only difference in performance was the pmr kicked a little bit more, was a little louder, and a lil more time spent at the fill station, defenatly worth 450 bucks (i think thats what it costs?).i would say it has to be better than my freestyle (always broke) in reliability since its made bye die, im thinking about buying one now lol.
