  • being a metal detectorist myself, that guy won't find anything swinging the detector 2 feet off the ground lol

  • What a wonderful message!

  • @royalott Thanks a lot. This movie means a lot to me!

  • I like this BUT the metal Detector man should be swinging the coil just for realism's sake... I enjoyed watching it ALOT!!

  • I really like your writing. Your direction is clearly good, and I like your choice of actors as well as their performances. Overall, your editing is good and gets the point across, but I disagree with many of the dissolves. The power of the simple cut is unimaginable.

I respect you as a filmmaker and I like your work. If you want an editor for your next flick, let me know. I'm also an AAU student. Nice work, take care.

  • God this is EXACTLY what its like at a local regional paper. holy crap.

  • Searching Youtube for any videos about Metal Detectors, discovered this great Short Film. At first I thought "What the ...?". As I'm watching, I'm realizing that it's pretty deep. Maybe there is hope for Youtube being used as everyones Broadcast Channel with some insight; instead of a bunch of cowards pissing on peoples videos because they have nothing worth sharing from their own lives. Thanks for a great film / video. =^.^=

  • @alectricfoxx Go to vimeo, its art, not v-logging dbags

  • An amazing work of art. I loved how the setting came together. The location of the beach is great, and to have the weather gloomy really made an impact. Steering away from the typical sunny summer weather. It's a little bit of foreshadowing part of the plat. Great job all of you!

  • Great video

  • You're amazing!

  • Collin, your writing is profound, smart and sophisticated - your best yet! Dan did a fabulous job of interpreting the story on film. I am so proud of you, son. Congratulations to you both! Your number one fan,

    Mom

  • Your best work yet. Looking foward to the DVD.

  • Great work Mr. Lahr! The story and dialogue was clear and I like the spin at the end with him researching the truth. Great job. Your finest work yet sir.
