Vince spent 3 years in college before entering the draft as opposed to DeMar's 1 year. Give the guy a couple of seasons before you start comparing him to VC. Besides, the Raptors didn't need DeMar to carry the franchise in his rookie year and not too long from now (2-3 years) DeMar will be in the same company as BJ, Steph and T. Evans. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect 14-16ppg from him this year especially since Barbosa is going to get less minutes because of his injury.

8.6 ppg isn't bad for a rookie. It isn't VC's 18.5 ppg her posted in his rookie year, but the sky is the limit for Demar. As for his shooting, Vince was only a 28% 3 point shooter as a rookie. Demar shot 25% from 3 last season. As you know, Vince became a very respectable 3 point shooter. As someone mentioned, demar is practicing and is hitting close to 40% from 3 in summer ball
