Secondly, reading from the Sahih hadiths is NOT like reading a rocket science manual. The sources I read are from Sahih Muslim, and Sahih Bukhari.

The beginning of the chapter nulls all agreements with the pagans and than goes on to condone open hostility towards them after holy period is over. This was interesting verse because it gives a green light to be killed in your deities causes, look at surah 61, ayat 10 to 12. I had to dig through my notes the historical context of this verse from the hadiths. I found it from before the battle of Uhud, from Sahih Muslim 20.4678 and from Sahih Bukhari 52.54, which explains why suicide bombers love death.

There is nothing in the Quran which allows us to kill innocent people. Prophet Mohammed PBUH's last speech to his soldiers before going to war against Meccans was to:

- Not to kill children.
- Not to kill women.

You're Christian, correct? I've heard you say you're Roman Catholic. With that established, you cannot hold Muhammad to the same standards as Jesus, since, being Christian, you must believe in Jesus as God and Muhammad as a man.

Muslims believe that Muhammad was a man, not a god, and therefore that some of the things he said were probably inaccurate. The term "satanic verses" was coined close to 1,000 years ago, and was their way of condemning the things Muhammad thought Satan was telling him. Muhammad didn't condone these "satanic verses".

@FireSign27 I actually had to dig in my copy of the Qu'ran and look up the hadith! But here they are, some the al-Hadith Al-Tabari 6.107 and the verse from Surah 54.19. Keep in mind this is AN AUTHENTIC hadith that early scholars from Islam and today say is a valid hadith. Oddly enough, Muhammad than abrogates the verse when the angel "Jibril" asks him why he elevated the gods of the pagan Arabs and Muhammad conveniently blames Satan.

Jesus used the word spirit to mean HUMAN Prophet, it's clearly obvious in the bible, if you want me to provide verse numbers from the Bible as proof, just ask. Jesus said he had many things still to teach us but couldnt, and the Spirit of truth will deliver the all-truth. The bible says paraclete = Holy Ghost. Theres so much error in that.

@cycloneous The corruptions are many. The Bible contains many scientific inaccuracies, contradictions and errors.For example; jesus says the paraclete (spirit of truth) is the Holy Ghost. Error because Jesus uses Spirit to mean human prophet. jesus said another parae will come - meaning there would need to be atleast 2 Holy ghosts. I have many reasons for believing Muhammad is a prophet, i was pointing out that Muhammad isn't a false prophet according to the test Jesus gave us in the Bible.

@cycloneous The thing is, some of the authors of the bible were unknown - how can we be sure that what those unknown authors wrote is truth, and what we have now is the original?? It's unreliable. The very fact that there are many versions of the bible, and canons were dropped and included to it over time proves it once had or does have uninspired words of mere humans.

@cycloneous The Quran doesn't rely on previous scriptures at all. Whatever simialr quotes exist, only exist because they are the Truth, and Judaism/Christianity/islam are/were all Abrahamic monotheistic religions -ofcourse similarities will exist! I've heard of the Sana's Manuscripts - not researched them yet though. And the burning of the qurans (By Uthamn) isn't a problem - it wasa great thing that Uthman did! He preserved the Quran in it's original form, and burned all different Qurans.
@FireSign27 I said your religion as a whole not just the quran. The Sana'a Manuscripts tell a different story about the uniqueness of your quran that you have today, which is the Uthman quran copy. All over versions, as you just admitted were burned. And who is to say, that the quran in use today is the authentic one dictated to by "Jibril" to your "prophet?" The quran that you have is NOT the original, the Sana'a Manuscripts prove that. Again, research it for yourself, don't let me sway you.
@cycloneous Hmmm, the burning of the quran by uthman's empire is evidence that the Quran hasn't changed, and the Sana's Manuscripts date BEFORE the burning of the Qurans. Uthman collected and compiled the Quran in the original words and dialect - the ones close to muhammad complemented uthman (Including Ali - whom muhammad taught personally). Yemen had different dialect, Sanas manuscript = earlier than Uthman's compilation. Sana manuscript is just a version that wasnt turned in to be burned..

The moon controls the oceans waves, if such a thing took place, the devastation that would take place because of the moons pull and rotation would cause tidal waves to bury many island under water. Your comment is probably the most intelligent I have received, however, I must digress and say, how can a man be a model for people who willingly murdered people who criticized him or disagreed with him? I have a Qu'ran and copy of Sahih Bakhari, Muslim and Tabari hadith collections, I don't need an imam/priest to explain anything to me. I do not know everything about Islam, but neither do the imams or yourself. The Qu'ran says what it means, and not what you think it means.

Yes, the Quran means what it means, but no two people who read it will get the same meaning. It was memorized by people passed down generations and was written when many of them were dying off due to war, etc. The reason it was written with dots and accents is to represent each letter of sound so that people read/understand it properly. There are 7 different ways of reciting Quran; though some Qurans are ordered differently by Surah, they all have the exact same placement of verses and words.

The term "satanic verses" was coined close to 1,000 years ago, and was their way of condemning the things Muhammad thought Satan was telling him. Muhammad didn't condone these "satanic verses".

@FireSign27 I actually had to dig in my copy of the Qu'ran and look up the hadith! But here they are, some the al-Hadith Al-Tabari 6.107 and the verse from Surah 54.19. Keep in mind this is AN AUTHENTIC hadith that early scholars from Islam and today say is a valid hadith. Oddly enough, Muhammad than abrogates the verse when the angel "Jibril" asks him why he elevated the gods of the pagan Arabs and Muhammad conveniently blames Satan.

Whatever simialr quotes exist, only exist because they are the Truth, and Judaism/Christianity/islam are/were all Abrahamic monotheistic religions -ofcourse similarities will exist! I've heard of the Sana's Manuscripts - not researched them yet though. And the burning of the qurans (By Uthamn) isn't a problem - it wasa great thing that Uthman did! He preserved the Quran in it's original form, and burned all different Qurans.

@cycloneous Hmmm, the burning of the quran by uthman's empire is evidence that the Quran hasn't changed, and the Sana's Manuscripts date BEFORE the burning of the Qurans. Uthman collected and compiled the Quran in the original words and dialect - the ones close to muhammad complemented uthman (Including Ali - whom muhammad taught personally). Yemen had different dialect, Sanas manuscript = earlier than Uthman's compilation. Sana manuscript is just a version that wasnt turned in to be burned..

In order to argue this point you must take into concideration that Muslims do not believe what Jews and Christians believe about Abraham and Moses. IF YOU READ THE QURAN YOU WILL REALIZE THAT. In Islam they are concidered prophets that were to spread the word of God (one true God). We believe that they were in fact Muslims. Islam did begin with Adam and though it is known to people as Judaism, Christianity came after with Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), then Islam with the final messenger, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)-- this is to identify those people who still follow God. It was memorized by people passed down generations and was written when many of them were dying off due to war, etc. The reason it was written with dots and accents is to represent each letter of sound so that people read/understand it properly. There are 7 different ways of reciting Quran; though some Qurans are ordered differently by Surah, they all have the exact same placement of verses and words.

Check out videos done by Pat Condell and the Stop Sharia Law In Britain and some of the video links associated with them such as a user called Proteanview, very intellegent men. Nice work friend, i can go without all arab religion and will go back to my people's original belief in AZGARD, and well they say Mohammed didn't kill anyone but the same with G W Bush and islams belief that all westerners including Bush are to blame even though it wasn't done by our physical hand.

Islam was made by a mortal. If you do your research properly, many of the stories or scientific premises the Qu'ran makes assertion of are found in, gnostic gospels, bastardized stories of the Torah & Christian Bible or borrowed ideas from the greek sciences. So one begs the question, where was this religion made from?
If you research properly, you will see what I mentioned is very true.

This still does not excuse your prophet's behaviour towards the jews whom he massacred and any dissenters he ordered to have murdered. Again, there is no comparing Moses or Jesus to your prophet. Comparing Jesus and Moses versus your prophet is night and day.
Name an instance that Jesus ordered the massacre of any group of people and we can discuss this more. The reality is there is not any.

You need to read the parable in its entirety to understand what Jesus was saying. Please read the beginning of Luke Chapter 19 to understand the verse you gave me completely, otherwise, you will not understand its meaning.
Secondly, treason on religious grounds is grounds is immoral and against the very concept of having a free will. But yes, my country does have treason punishable by death and but NOT for insulting islam or any religion.

i have read the parable. it about owners of a vinyard. the world is the vinyard. the servants sent there were the prophet and finally the owner sends his son. this means that God sent his son and the people killed him. so that makes God made
it uncertain by scholars whether the last verse belongs in the parable or not. however if it is in the parable then that's fine because the person saying that phrase represents your prophet Jesus peace be upon him

Muhammed is the founder/leader of Islam. Just like Jesus is the founder/leader of Christianity.
As to whether Muhammed is the messenger of God, that is subject to debate based on his actions on one hand versus and what he "preached."
