  • Jeg og Amund elsker deg!

  • Yesss, der Junge rockt, weiter so, geil!!!!

  • Wow, this was serioulsy groovy, and the bass was steady as a rock!! This guy´s got some serious talent! Does anyone know how he learned to play like this?

  • SavantSvant snakka til Calsingen tror jeg, sikkert ikke du som må opploade

  • If this hep cat were any more cool, he'd be frozen! What a delight to listen to today for the first time. Strictly from wowsville, daddy-o! Boogie woogie at it's best! THANK YOU so very much for sharing this delightful clip with us! This cat can really swing! Can't help but get those "happy feet" when hearing a toe tapper like this! You've made my day & my weekend! :)

  • @Calsingen : Btw,Carl, you can't "learned" someone. "Learn" how to use English properly before making an argument because even if you ARE right, you look like an idiot!

  • 3:20 - 3:46 Nice little add thought. to damp the sound by pushing the strings is a very clever and different way. Making it sounds like a bass. Nice thought.

  • The audience can't even follow the rhythm. What a fail.

  • i think he likes Oscar Peterson ( what is understandably and right! )

  • Gotta tell you this crowd does not have a rhythm at all, as said, bless them :D But nice playing, though.. :)

  • Damn, that kid's a 'BluesaRaptor" :)

  • wow this crowd has no rhythm at all

  • jop..

  • Hansa, you really are a genious!

  • nice job - gratulation

    Gruß from Germany :)

  • I'm in love

  • This is improv nit wit.

  • Wrong, this is no improv at all...it was a composition obviously

  • Jeg elsker denne gutten. han er en sexy hornynoghtytoghty boy

  • Fantastisk!!

  • really wish we could see his rght hand. REALLY REALLY do

    nagyon király

  • very good

  • annoying audience....

  • He's in C

  • Get him on the Jools Holland show!

  • What key is he playing in?

  • i would also like to know

  • in C

  • perfect...

  • clapping, one way to try and take away a musicians attention!

  • The clapping follows the groove so badly xD

  • it´s ultra off-beat like xD

  • ...davvero complimenti...bravo!!!

  • i hate these guys, who aren't able to clap to the music correctly...

it gets on the musicians nerves!!

  • GREAT!

  • genialt Hansa!

  • God bless american music

  • Gratulerar till ett kanonbra jobb! Hoppas Du kommer till Stockholm och spelar någon gång.

    (Congratulations to an excellent job!)

  • my god what is his age? he doesn't look older than 15 or sth...

    perfect!!

  • Well, he is 19 now, ha was 15 at that momement;)

  • Oops, sorry, he was 16. ;P

  • thats very good

  • The sound of that piano is great cant beat grands of that scale for the wonderful tone! sad I have an electric...

  • Nothing worse than people that can't clap.

  • At 3:00 the people sure know how to clap in rhythm, I probably would have stopped and said STOP YOUR FUCKING CLAPPING !! then i would have finished up with a ripping solo from hell !! but hey, that just me.

  • man what a fun little lick at 4:35. very nice

  • its a classic boogie woogie bass, and you can clearly hear during the comp section the the heavy use of the c blues scale. its influenced by the real soul of blues boogie woogie music, not an imitation. thats the heart of this kind of music, hear something that you like make it your own and reinterpret it. cut the kid some slack pal

  • Still love this guy!!!

  • Improv is when you play a line and build on it, but not the same way everytime. As I said further down(you are not the first person saying this, you are the second of 153 comments) that I have heard this guy play this song severall times and he never plays it 100% same. See this video as a guy playing blues boogie, and entertaining the audience. he is an exellent player. end of story.....

I am looking forward to see your video, post it as a video response.

  • ohhhh my gæd. I love this guy!!! he totally ROCKS or BLUESes

  • He's not the only one to do that, many jazz performers, myself included know this trick. Jamie Cullum is noted for using it, including on some of his recorded stuff.

  • Damn, kids gots skills. Keep on man, some great music , I like the muffled sound from the hand in the piono, nice trick :)

  • He Knows How To Keep Interest, Thats Going To Come In Real Handy Later On.

  • Blues and Boogie Woogie sound best when improvised.

  • Thats right;) No teacher, he is all self learned;):D Brilliant:D

  • he has never ever had a piano teacher...????

  • honestly, there is much better blues and boogie out there, but this guy's got talent. can't wait to see what becomes of him in a few years

  • Woow, that sounded great, I have never ever liked Blues/Boogie before now;D

  • i love the bit when he mutes the piano strings with his hand, i only have a keyboard cos i'd have to get rid of my bed to fit a piano in my room.

  • i really like the guy, but this is deff not true improv, meaning these r all riffs he had ready be4 and he repeats a lot of the stuff.

  • That is true, but I have seen him perfome it about 3 times, and he never plays the same thing. He have the riffs and the beats, but he is improv. around the beats/riffs. But there is no doubt that this guy is good, great, and brilliant!

  • this guy can play whatever way he likes hes still a gifted player in my opinion and i wouild think has enough skill to play the song different all the time if he wanted

  • thats what improv is you retard. lol.

  • marry me?;)

  • This guy is brill but the audience needs timing lessons XD

  • i like your tone

i just learned that song and i like it

so keep up the good work =P

  • How did you learn this song, mate? Do you have a piano sheet, or something? I need it plsplspls :P If you have it, pls send it to spam@agora.hu

    Tyty

  • you're an idiot its an improv

  • hay yo're grat

  • kor gammel e han hær?

  • kor gammel e han hær?

  • Da han spilte her var han mellom 15-16 år;) Det er ca 2 år siden nå.

  • ncie

  • Fy faen så flink! <3

  • what a great genius! and hes is so relaxed... amazing!

  • the magic of blues unleashed

  • jævlig pent! ikke no mer å si på saken!

  • Eu só queria um dos dois pra mim!!!!

  • I can write for you any sheet music

  • What's the costs ?

  • What's the name of the song ?

  • I think its just a blues improv

  • Great, just great... wonderful interpretation

  • When people clap out of time thats soooo enoying

  • Literally the worst audience ever

    Fantastic playing though

  • people clapping... come on over there! He is a fantastic young guy playing the piano as a god - would'nt you have clapped if being there?

This is a really great young pianoman!

  • I can't believe audiences are so terrible at clapping in beat...

    Very nice, though!

  • AMEN THAT !! when i play,I'm hoping no one claps to the beat !! or the off beat ! it must of been his grandparents or class mates !! But this dude never let it bother him, great job !

  • this kid looks about 15 , and wow what a player . you'll see more of him if he gets into the right circle of players .keep going mate ,you are very gifted

  • Agree.

  • the claps are out of time.. xD

  • about a second off !!

  • gives me the shivers

    its incroyable

  • just amazing! to play blues, you must be born for that...

  • Right!!

  • Are you kiddin' me? That was the best and most creative blues improv I've ever heard. The chords were fine to me and I'm sure if he wanted some other chords he would have included them. How many times have you been invited to play in a Norway theater? This guy knew what he was doing. So you just need to keep your jealous comments to your self. I take my hat off to Mr. Henrik.

  • I take mine too. :)

  • Hi

Good technique but The Chords are not good

You find the Oscar Chords on my YT ANKHATON page

    Success

  • exellence blues- He is a good blues piano player !!!

  • i think it's genius that he made it sound like that

  • That aint jazz.. This is blues man...

  • You sound great! very groovy.

  • Great playing dude !!

  • I play blues myself but that put me to shame it was incredible.

  • Great blues!! Tat tatata tat ta ta att tatat

  • dude! u r so awesome !

  • I like when he gives the nod. "Yeah, you like that string work girls? Don't all run to the bathroom to wipe at once..."

  • yeah, he grooves^^

  • skilled but unrefined.

  • it's a bit boring, needs more 9ths and 13ths, and the boogie woogie bass is too much for to long. nice effort though.

  • This is boogie woogie.

  • good job :)

  • Coool!!!!, I have never seen that string "tapping" (or whatever he does) on a piano nice and original.

  • He's pretty good. He could've been better if he wasn't so repetitive.

  • Hey! mega bra greier det her!! MÆggie fra Soft stones!

  • oh well, twas worth a try! i still keep watching, i love it!! hopefully ill be as good as that someday! oh, i also taught myself, since i was 6 but im not as good though!

  • Hah, I don't have sheets for this, sorry. It's improvisation, yes. Of course I have some, what should I call it, "moves" that I use, but the song wasn't planned. And by the way, the stop at 2:29 was not a mistake. I make several stops during the song.

  • love it, love it, love it!!! is it improv? damn good if it is!! actually, damn good if it isnt!! but i know u arent reali meant to copy improv but i sure would LOVE to play it cos i love blues/jazz/boogie woogie, u name it, i love it!!! i doubt it but......sheet music?? ...... or midi?????

  • nice

  • I think thats booguie wooguie

  • pure mistake at 2:28

  • not a mistake

  • he plucks it!

  • really good

  • cute, music song

  • its good...but check oscar petersons eight bar boogie blues.

  • 2:29 was a mistake but he covered it up

  • no.. it wasnt a mistake.. it was a part of the song..

  • yeah...

    perfect

  • Souns slightly more jazzy to me =) Like it

  • Good job! In my opinion, however, you get hung up on the minor blues scale too much to the point where you're almost playing it exclusively! Try to use more classic boogie riffs with those left hand patterns your using. Nice creativity though and great job overall!

  • Amazingggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the audience can't even keep clap in time with the beat!

  • lol!

  • Svært bra. ^^

  • se parece a alguien que conozco!!!!!!!!!! emmm...

  • no mames esta cabron el werito!!

  • i love it!

  • wow! superb! he's awesome for being as young as he is!!! A+! good job dude!

  • very very good blues:)

  • very good blues I like this song...

  • Stupid audience with their claps...

    Really stupid.

  • Is he like...three?

  • Huega Baby!

  • added points for wearing (what looked like) converse!!

  • i like blues really

  • wow awesome guy good blues...

  • Konge!

  • He's good. I wonder if it's improv? Impressing if so.

  • It certainly sounds improvised :)

  • I like that Rolling bass left hand. Great player! Regards from Sweden

  • hes good...but ave u seen jools holland??? jools holland is the best ive ever seen at piano!!!

  • awesome

  • OMG at 4:38...perfect haha

  • i might just be abit music-knowledgely impaired but...what was special bout that bit?

  • I kinda hated it, it didn't sound really great to me.

    but the rest's cool

  • i think it just kinda fit perfectly. im a blues fanatic and i just love shit like this.

  • it's the 3 notes that bother me, well, it's just one i think, it's: 'tun dundunDUDUDUN dun' if i'm right ^^

    sorry, i'm not too clear.

  • Your're right about it being 3 chords, if that's what you thought about. Standard blues. C-F-G/C-F-Dm-G. Not sure what you mean about: "tun dundunDUDUDUN dun" though...

  • exactly at 4:38, the caps are the notes i hate, but nevermind really;)

it's great, i love this kind of music

  • Haha, that's actually a commercial theme for Telenor, a Norwegian telephone company.

  • ah, now i get it:D

ok, now i love those few seconds too, thanks

  • wow you sure seem to have a good musical knowledge for someone called IAMSOUND, its blues it started all.

  • it's a song by the dandy warhols..i don't watch norwegian commercials, you wouldn't think trance would fit in there, would you?

  • Nice ! it's nice to know that there are some fellow youngsters playing the blues :D

  • Whoa.

  • Heh, JP6606. It's a bit hard to play with one beat in your mind and another beat (or actually a couple of beats) coming from the audience, that's for sure. Unfortunately, an average audience in Norway has no concept of rhythm or beats (no offence). It must be our culture or something, I don't know...

PS! If you want to visit my homepage, just google my name (shown on the beginning of the movie).

  • Awesome, if i was him i so woulda stopped and told the stupid audiance to learn how to clap on beat

  • LOL so true! XD At least he didn't let it throw him off lol...

  • humanist7117 said: "Many people it seems do not know the difference between the blues and boogie woogie. NC"

I know it's not really "blues" like the "I got the blues"-kind, but I would say that boogie woogie is a form of blues. The song is really just improviseing with the blues scale, like "returnedbattery" said, with a walking base. I'm trying to make my solos become more jazzy, and use the blues scale less. But it's hard!

  • all right, dude, I did the same; tried all those greek modes, superlocrian, exatonal, melodic minor and its derivates, chord families from 1 to 9 and derivate scales, interior plural chords to those... you know what scale I end up using, especially at the end of the structure? The blues scale. Nothing ends up a structure or helps playing a turnaround like a blues scale. Nevermind those boxes people want to seal music into: keep playing, you're doing great.

  • There are much better Blues Piano players, not that you get a wrong impression....Axel Zwingenberger, Vince Weber, Frank Muschalle....an so on..

    Nevertheless he is good.

  • Wow thats some amazing blues piano

  • hælvete så sinnsykt bra.. jeg har også vært med på ukm vettu;) men kom ikke vidre da:(

  • Utrolig bra spilt!!!!

  • Many people it seems do not know the difference between the blues and boogie woogie. NC

  • He is still great besides, he does use the blues scale with a lot of improv.

  • This is one of the best blues performances I've seen in some time.

  • ...du eige!!! sjukt bra!!

  • I did not invent the muting of the strings, I saw Jamie Cullum do it once, and thought it was really cool. About piano lessons, I had one, about a week or so before this preformance. Learned a great deal from that. Have to say thanks for all the great response!

  • Sinnsykt bra!! Sant at du ikke har tatt pianotimer? IMPONERT!!

    This is amazing!!
